Looking good Chad , by the way you can call me Patty my real name , Ha ha . I agree this reminds me of the board I had just quit it's exactly the same except there's no blog here .
i totally agree and i am glad to see this new forum and happy to see that our mods are actually in control of everything
Major props to pyrochild for the hard work he has done!
maybe you should try messaging the mods instead of making a thread just for the fact of asking a question. But they can change your name if they see fit.
check the links on the front page you have to get a program called abr viewer and export as pngs into you brushes folder. There is a link to the program and a tutorial on how to use it.
topezia your last image is quite large i suggest resizing it. And you art is good but most of it could use some work. The background in the fifth image detracts from the foreground of the image. Keep at up the good work and maybe one day you will get a piece in the galleria.
Well i have had little time lately for pdn but i found some time to make some things this week. Here are two new images that i have made.
the first is untitled because i have yet to find a name for it
here is the next image it is called ethereal flow
it is a fractal that i rendered in apophysis and then did post rendering in pdn
The point of the thread is he was asking for help on how to translate a tutorial.
Also the liquify filter in photoshop is a bit more advanced then smudge mate I am sure it would be quite difficult to achieve what you are looking for with smudge. I think point warp might work in this case though.
first of great job blending in the effects and making the wallpaper flow. Your sigs are great and am glad to see that you don't only do sigs that shows a great deal about your skill as your wallpaper's are just as good if not better than your sigs.
The only thing that i could see that could use some work in the image is the text looks a bit out of place. it just doesn't quite fit in with the rest of the image. Have you tried adding a bit of a drop shadow to accentuate that it isn't a part of the background?
only critique i have is the pages need to be anti aliased and the text could blend in with the pages a bit. Other than that a nice fresh start to your gallery.
sokagirl you are just getting more and more amazing i would have to say the kaleidoscopic star is just absolutely great and the fish image is just wonderful. I swear i will get some time to work on our collab this week that is if my nazi work will let me have a day off.
What do you mean by "this version"? 3.5.2 is already out ...
It's on the list. But it's not like I have a calendar with dates chiseled into it.
you have a stone calender? i thought i was the only one that had one
and this sounds so wrong, on so many levels
i wouldn't moan about it and welsh i had to laugh about you not copying and pasting
come on guys we get to use this awesome program for free find a work around sometimes it makes it more of a challenge but hey remember you get to use this program for free
:shock:wow you just keep amazing me with every image you do. That is a wonderful spacescape mate and a wonderful ship. One of the best spacescapes i have seen in a while
