  1. One problem I can see with that is if a new plugin was listed in between two old plugins. My suggestion is to just add put *new* next to the name of any new plugins.
  2. The ZIP downloads still work, and you can preview them by unzipping and opening the image.
  3. I've just published a new version, hopefully this one will work better.
  4. Don't click on any of the plugins in the list, just click "download" again. They currently are. Click the link next to "download" in Text Pro's thread.
  5. If it's possible to add extra scripts to the theme, one way to decrease posting questions in plugins/tutorials might be to change the new topic button in the plugin section to say "post a new plugin." Untested script to do this (requires jQuery): if ($("#breadcrumb a[href*=7-plugins]").length > 0) $(".topic_buttons img[src*=page_white_add.png]").text("Post a New Plugin");
  6. I also think all the rules should be in one place. It would be annoying to read through the list of rules only to find more rules to read when posting a tutorial. Many of the tutorial rules (e.g. post in the correct section) go hand-in-hand with forum rules anyway, so posting them in the same thread would make them a bit shorter. Also, the help file link in the rules is broken.
  7. Suggestions for the rules: Remove rules like "avatar size requirements" and the forums in which polls are allowed, as these are enforced by the forum . Also, sneak bumping is impossible now as IIRC the new forum doesn't allow normal users to delete their own posts. Split them into sections. Newbies don't need to worry about signature rules if they just want to ask a question. Just spell out each rule, rather than explaining the reason for it. Make them easier to follow. For #7, just ask the user to click Utilities -> Check for Updates before posting. Combine similar rules. #12 and #24 could be combined to say "Family friendly forum. Don't swear or post NSFW art."
  8. You can search for them here. The URLs changed when the forum was migrated.
  9. That program requires an installation of Paint.NET, so it presumably just uses Paint.NET to read it. It's open source, but I haven't looked at the code.
  10. You might want to save it as a PNG instead (at least until you've finished the image), otherwise you'll lose some quality.
  11. Both of the folder names that weren't translated belong to plugins. My opinion is that it's more trouble than it's worth for a plugin to translate its own special folders, especially since the Custom Brushes folder is used by more than one plugin.
  12. http://code.google.com/p/checkboard/ On the right-hand side of the page.
  13. If mypaint supports PSD, you could use the PSD plugin to edit your files in both.
  14. You could use TimeSnapper to make automatic screenshots. Here they are.
  15. Artweaver supports PSD files and Paint.NET has a PSD plugin.
  16. This version isn't available for download any more. The pack Sarkut linked to contains the latest version of a similar plugin.
  17. My suggestion: Give the scan option a shortcut.
  18. Did it work before the update (assuming you used it then)?
  19. That's odd. If you view the file's properties and look at the details tab, what version number does it show?
  20. Note that those two might not work that well together.
  21. It's called AnimGIF.dll for historical reasons. As long as you put it in the FileTypes folder, the APNG option should show up. Also make sure the DLL isn't in a subfolder of FileTypes.
