  1. The last three are wonderful Seerose! I particularly like the rainbow hues on the star trails in the middle image.
  2. You're welcome Cc4FuzzyHuggles. Welcome to the forum
  3. As far as I'm aware, this effect should be working with v4.0. Please try to download and install it again to make sure you have the latest available version. If the problem persists, please let us know.
  4. There is little interest in this competition as the lack of recent posts shows. I'm happy to restart it and see if there are new 'battlers' out there. I'll declare Xzerixon the winner of the previous battle with a score of 7 . Congratulations Xzerixon! Two new entrants are required. Please submit your entries as per the conditions in the first post of this thread.
  5. Ego Eram Reputo would like to have more fun writing and designing and work less.

  6. I totally missed the connection between the book folding and the image you were discussing! Now I see it. That's pretty cool Heather.
  7. The toggle switch moves between HTML mode (enables all the WP tools in the tool bar) and Compose mode - where you see the actual IP.Board tags and codes. You want the Compose mode in order to edit URL's and the like. I recommend editing your gallery offline using a txt editor. Copy and paste the finished text into your gallery post. That way you have an offline version as a backup.
  8. Note that the Tolerance setting in the tool bar also has an effect. Lowering the Tolerance limits the range of hues that will be recolored. In other words, the color will need to be closer to the Secondary color in order to be recolored.
  9. Rather than the Paint.NET directory itself, shouldn't the cfg file be placed in My Documents\Paint.NET User Files?
  10. Interesting. I don't have Curves+ in my list http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/27661-incompatible-plugins-an-incomplete-list/ (I'm not professing the list is exhaustive). Are you sure you have the most up-to-date version? I think I've captured most of the rest - but will double check when I get time.
  11. @hermenutic: Hello and welcome to the forum! As dynCysgodol pointed out, we have a procedure for voting in this thread. We score each of the entrants using a one to five star rating - the first to 15 wins. To drop a star into your post, type in a colon, the word star then another colon. Like this: Produces this So in your post you need to make it clear what your vote is for each then tally the results. Hope this is clear. The first post in this thread has more details.
  12. I don't speak or read ... Dutch? However I'm going to have a stab at this one. Line three says System.IO.FileNotFoundException Three possible causes: 1. Your HDD is failing and the file system is corrupted. Scan it and check it for errors. Open an Administrator level command prompt and type sfc /scannow followed by Enter. When that has finished do the same with chkdsk /f . Tell us what you find (if anything). 2. Paint.NET is corrupted. A reinstall should remedy this. Why not try the new v4.0 beta version that's out? 3. The .NET framework itself is in need of repair. How >> http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306160 Edit: Beaten by Midora. Edit #2: Added link to .NET repair technique.
  13. THAT is the best post! Ever Great use of emoticons, BTW who's that with the fork? (DON'T answer that!!)
  14. I was not being unhelpful - nor was I blaming your mouse. I was trying to diagnose your problem with very little actual information. I said... See? Trying to help.
  15. We have four Moderators and three Admins (think of them as Mods on steroids ) You've met Rick, and me. Here's a list of the others http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=stats&do=leaders We're volunteers here. Like you we are Paint.NET users. We do the policing of the Forum Rules. The rules are here to make this a friendly and pleasant place
  16. For those wondering, the line/curve tool is now a part of the shape tool. Lines and curves are one of the shape types, selected from the tool sub menu.
  17. I've merged these threads together to keep this discussion in one place. I'm sure TechnoRobbo will be along shortly to give you some guidance
  18. ^ Same here. @GTK: I wonder if it's your mouse. Can you try a different one?
  19. I think you're describing left over pixels at the edge when you've cut out an image from another background. If so, paste your subject into a new layer above the background. Then run the AA Assistant plugin over the subject layer.
  20. Tried this one? http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/17525-rawload-v10-load-raw-files-with-metadata-using-wic/ It seems to work with .CR2. At least according to this post http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/23977-how-to-solve-raw/?p=372670
  21. Alternative: download and install the AlphaSpace plugin. You'll find it in the Plugin Index (link in my sig). Edit: Link >> AlphaSpace
  22. I'm cursed with this encyclopedic knowledge of the Paint.NET plugins. Why, just this morning I wished someone "Gradient Fill" instead of "Good Day".
  23. Or this plugin Duotone Ink on Paper. It allows you to set both the ink and paper color. The image is transformed (using shading) as if these were the only colors available.
