I've created a PayPal button for the post editor. Works much like the imgur button. It links to your PayPal account (the bit you need to specify) - you can't specify amount, description or currency (defaults to $US). At least you might get something! Comments & discussion please.....

Fixed. I also added a link to the forum rules. These appear at the top and foot of each page.

B) This has always been the forum shortcut for the sunglasses smiley to stop it being translated into the icon it should be placed in a <code> block. It is bothersome to lose it. Can you link me to a thread where this has happened?

I'm (slowly) developing a less bright theme for the forum. I've called it Goodnight Nurse (because NiteNurse was the catalyst for it). Find it under the Themes menu at the foot of the page. I intend to keep developing it as time allows, so expect changes

Want to post a clickable thumbnail link on the forum using an imgur image? Now you can. See this button in the post editor toolbar? Click that button and you'll see this dialog Find the seven digit imgur code of your image.... TIP: you can find the unique code in the address bar of your browser when viewing the image on imgur. .... and type it in the text box. Click Ok to create the thumbnail link. ~ special thanks to Red Ochre for the image (he doesn't know I used it yet...)

You can't post HTML - but you can post the link. Look for the chain icon in the editor. Donation buttons are in the list of things to sort out.

Loving paint.net come easily It's a great product and the developer (Rick) is keen to include users in the development cycle. Aw. You guys Brilliant. Thanks for letting me know Pixey. I'm going to make one or two little tweaks and roll both buttons into one. Please feel free to use both buttons while they are available. I'll post a how-to announcement once I've finished fiddling with them

Those instructions are very clear and simple. If you do not understand them then PLEASE don't use them. Instead find a computer expert and ask them to help you.

It was a rant directed at my electricity supplier. Who is now my former supplier due to their incompetence :( We have been with IP board for the forum since we moved from forumer. This latest change is a version upgrade. There are a few outstanding issues we are working through. In other news, I might have a fix for imgur thumbnail links ready for trial later today.
