  1. Really great watermelon yellowman. I too might like to see the shine toned down a little. I was wondering if what Ash meant was that the underside of the melon doesn't just cast a shadow but that you have the lighter part reflecting. It is a great piece of work at any rate.
  2. Possum Roadkill, your love of PDN shows. I do have a favorite; it is the one with the Julia fractals, glass blocks, 3D, and I think, rotate zoom in it. It looks like you have learned a lot since February and made some great images. I know your work will just get better and better. Smiles!

  6. Thanks Storm.Shadow. I have used Chaoscope and like the program but these were done with Apophysis. Both programs are fun to work with. One of my fairys on the first page has fractal wings.

  8. I like it too. Strange as it may sound two colors I love to use together with the gradient tool are red and a medium orange. It's the pink bumper I am still thinking about. I like the over all composition.

  15. I enjoyed viewing your gallery. The Panda avatar looks like cut out paper. I like!
  16. Three brilliants an adorable, well done, very, very, very nice, unique, cuteā€¦ Thank you all so much. Welshblue you made my husband laugh as did oma. I thought you might like to see how I begin and build an image: I start with a line drawing. Usually I have some sorce of inspiration. Like oma I love my local library but I also have a foundness for coloring books. Then I start coloring it in a layer at a time. This had 36 layers. Then I flatten and do some smudge. I like to work with a 3200x2400 image right from the start with a 200 or 300 resolution. I ask a lot of my PDN and have to save, close out and begin again to empty the memory of pdn. You would think I would be done then but that's when the real fun starts. I love to duplicate and layer and try everything. It is the artistic effects that I love so much along with soften portrait which I sometimes wish was up there in the artist group. I run different effect on all the duplicate layer and start playing with the mode. I had one layer that was just big dots that I frosted and changed the mode to add texture. Her world can be anything I want. Baby mice and buterflies would be nice. I didn't draw the buterflies in flight. They started out flat and I think I played with 3D and oblique and kaleidoscope. I don't know how her ear got colored in on the line drawing, mistakes happen and I get confused so I always name my layers well.
  17. I think it is wonderful oma.
  18. Thank you oma you make me smile. Thank you yellowman, while you were leaving a comment on my gallery I was at your gallery admiring your Queen as well as the rest of your gallery.
  19. So glad you are not lurking any longer and have opened a gallery. Nice work and I think doing abstracts and playing around with the plug-ins are a good way to learn what you can do with them. I have not done any tuts in a while but I have done many. I printed them out and put them in a binder. I have a whole section dedicated to Boltbait tuts and one to Ash tuts. I too am grateful to those who developed and shared this great program with us and to those who take the time to write great plug-ins and to those who share their knowledge with us. Welcome and I look forward to seeing more from you EmeraldCullen. Sounds a little Irish. Go Irish!
  20. Fun gallery, some of my favorites are Circus, Aurora Borealis, rainbow and Background Annimation from your photobucket gallery.
