  1. Some fun with Polar Inversion:
  2. Thank you survulus. I didn't know what you where speaking of at first, I had to go see for myself. It made my day. Smiles!
  3. I think a little more work and you will have a wonderful image and a beginning to a nice gallery. I would work on smoothing the edges out with the smudge tool and maybe add a background.
  4. I am behind on veiwing galleries and I am just now seeing your Christmas image, love it.
  5. Happy New Year to you and thanks for all you do for the forum. The bus is great. I'm a big fan of the ink sketch effect. Helen would make a great addition to the Galleria.
  6. I think your sig is great too.
  7. Stopped by to say Happy New Year and see what's up with you, my how nice your opening page is looking. Good job! I fear I will never be organized.
  8. Happy New Year to you too! Good beginning on the glass. Glass is something I have never tried.

  12. I really enjoyed your image jerkfight and Sozo that is beautiful, the colors are great.
  13. So glad to see you opened a gallery! Nice!! Great opening banner.
  14. I finally got around to taking my Christmas sig and avatar down. I was going to make a new sig but then I came across my first or one of my first sigs. I remember how pleased I was that I could draw anything on the computer at all even three poor little flowers so I decided to revive them for a while. I know this seems redundant right now but this post will remain and my signature will eventually change. When I first did these poor flowers I didn’t mind the rough edges at all I just felt like I had accomplished something. Lucky for me that the great people on the pdn forum where always pointing such things as jagged edges out to me and pushing me always to do better. I am very fond of these 3 ugly flowers and all the people who took the time to help me do better and want better.
  15. I liked it before the change. I like Nab's idea and intend to try it out on some stuff but your image seemed to lose something to me and didn't fix the whole problem. The lighting or color seems different, maybe it made it a little darker. I would think that you put countless hours in on a piece like this and what are a few more hours. If you really want to get rid of the line drawing look, which for itself is a nice look, I would use the smudge tool. It would take painstaking hours of work but the piece is worth it. And that is the most I have ever had to say about anything. I just like it so much. It is a great piece as it is but it could be all that. It is like a glimmer of hope in a dark cold world.

    Ash

A very Merry Christmas to you Ash! Hope you are finding time for some artwork.
  17. Still doing nice work, your glass die is a nice piece and I love the starfield.
  18. I absolutely love it!!! It is unusual and creative. The lighting is wonderful.
  19. oma that is beautiful. ZDegausser I like your use of color. Donoravis I guess that is just a little out there for me. I made these stars with splashes.
  20. PyroTechniques, It is Pyro Techno Candy. Love it! I am sure you have all done something and when you got done you wished you had done this or that different but you spent too many hours on it to have the heart to start over. That is how I feel about this. I guess that is what they call learning. Still it is not a bad piece so I will post it here. I like how the chimney looks. I thought about using the render bricks effect but I didn't want it to look that perfect, organized...whatever. Uniform!
  21. Thanks Kemaru, oma and Helen. The snowman was fun.I have been working on a Santa that I just can't get right. I think I will just put him away for now and move on. I had a hard time getting a pleasant look on his face and the perspective seems off.
  22. I have not had much time for pdn the past two weeks but this is what I have been working on. I thought you might like to see how it looks drawn and colored before the magic of pdn. I love the smudge though it is a time consuming process it is so worth the effort. Also I was afraid I had made my snowman look too much like the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man and I have not seen that movie in years.
