  1. Can you show us an example image of what you're trying to create?

  3. From the paint.net FAQ: That said, some people around here have successfully gotten Paint.NET version 3.5.11 to run. There is a thread around here somewhere that describes how to do it, but I can't find it right now. Good luck!
  4. There could be several reasons for this: When you saved as PNG you selected something less than 32-bit (or auto detect) Some programs display transparency differently... some use the checkerboard pattern, some use white, some use black. Perhaps you thought you were saving as PNG but you really saved as JPG instead? Hope this helps.
  5. When running paint.net, try pressing F5 to view/hide the tools window.

  9. Sorry, but Rick is not going to add this functionality into paint.net. MS Paint uses this hack because they don't have layers. Basically, you just need to learn how to manipulate your images using the full power of layers. This may help you: https://www.getpaint.net/doc/latest/WorkingWithLayers.html
  10. Locking. Please continue the discussion here:

  14. Eli, please don't post crash reports from Beta builds of paint.net on plugin threads. This should go on the beta paint.net thread in the beta forum.
  15. The PDN format is not for display, it is for archive. Therefore, we don't allow the PDN format on the forum. If you need to distribute a PDN file, zip it up first as ZIP files are allowed on the forum.
  16. Follow this link: Start on step 4 and report back the results of each step. In order to help you, we will need the specific error messages and/or screenshots of the errors.
  17. If you have my plugin pack installed, you could try Hue/Saturation+ I first start by setting Alpha Adjustment to -100, then tinkering with the first 4 sliders to isolate the pixels I want to adjust. Then, reset the Alpha Adjustment and tinker with the Adjustment sliders to get the proper shade for the hat.
  18. Go HERE and click the download link in the upper right corner of the page.
