does anyone now of a plugin to give information about the image that paint.net is showing on the screen and the second thing how do I make a "file\new" image 1 bit (b\w) or say 8 bit without saving it first. DAVE

when I use the clone tool how do I blur the edge or mix the edge in better I need a how sharp do I want the edge thingy ? DAVE

Hi pin cushion is usualy control on the bow of one or the other sides, moving the bow around to some degree might be nice. Having some control over the top and bottom straight would also work. The bulge plugin is to much in one place ,you can nearly do pin cushion with it but difficult .Skew is trapazoid, the whole picture slope to the right or left . thankyou dave

Hi Is there any chance in future versions to have the opening image tagged to the top left hand corner of the screen or a least a choice of where it starts ,when it land in the middle all plugins land directly on top of the image you always half to move plugin left or right to see what is going on . By the way the 3D plugin is excellent if anyone knows japanese tell him well done. thankyou dave

You can search for Moiré on the search engines and you will find a few techniques to remove it, of variable effectiveness. The Descreen filter in the TWAIN driver is usually one of the best methods. the question is I have scanner but if I use paint I get these paterns ,whats the best way to remove them.the image below has this problem. Hi thankyou for that but there's always a but it only really works on layed images because you have to deselect the image you are trying to join on so you can use the tool ,once you have used the tool you go back and select the image again , the amount could be increased ,the programs I have seen around make the edges transperant a lot more.
