  2. To edit PSD files you'll need to install the PSD file plugin. Check this thread: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/18128-
  3. Also, make sure that there are no paint.net files in your Effects folder. That causes problems. For example, look in you Effects folder and see if there are files like "PaintDotNet.Effects.dll" or "PaintDotNet.Core.dll", etc. If you see them in your Effects folder, remove them from the Effects folder.

  5. In the "save as" dialog box, be sure to select "Auto" or the appropriate bit depth you want.
  6. If you are talking about my bevel plugin, you must select what you want beveled first. So, Shift-Click on a transparent area and press Ctrl-I to invert the selection. This should have all the text selected. Now run the bevel effect.

  8. Users can not make tool plugins... only effect, adjustment, or file type plugins.
  9. Look in your plugin directory for files that don't belong in there... such as paint.net's own files.
  10. Magic wand the empty area, ctrl-I to invert selection. At this point your object should be selected. Click :Crop: on the toolbar. That should do it.
  11. There's a typo in the script. You're setting "tmp" twice in a row. I'm thinking the second one should be "tmp2". Also, hsv3 and hsv4 are being set from the same color sample? Hope this helps.

  17. Paint.NET uses the fonts you have installed in Windows. So, adding new fonts is not a Paint.NET problem. Try this web page from Microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314960 If you're looking for new fonts, try a site like: http://www.dafont.com/

  19. If you have my plugin pack installed, you could select the area where you want the edges to be softened and try the Effect > Selection > Blur Selection Edge.
