  1. @xod The hatch brushes are a great addition to the plugin! I tried them...they work beautifully.
  2. Thank you Welshy! So glad you like them. But, don't bite the parrot...he might bite back! Thanks so much for the wonderful compliment BBQ! I had fun making these.
  3. Hi @Magda and welcome to the forum! You can also make a new transparent layer above your image and set the blending mode to 'Color Dodge'. Select the Brush tool and set the hardness to 0%. In the Palette, select a color between white and gray; the lighter the color, the more 'shine'. On transparent layer use the brush tool (with a selected brush width) on spots that you want to shine. In this example, I used this technique to highlight all the ridges and make them shiny. Hope this helps!
  4. Thank you @Seerose and @Pixey Glad you both like them! Thank you @Drydareelin for the rep!
  5. Beautiful rose @Pixey Roses are my flower. The coloring makes it look a bit surreal. Lovely job!
  6. Thank you so much @Woodsy! Those words mean a lot to me! I hope you are feeling better...one day at a time...I often think about you...sending you prayers... Thank you @LionsDragon! I think I'm developing 'my style'. I love doing pieces like this! Thank you @MJW for the rep! Thank you @Eli and @toe_head2001 for the rep.
  7. Wonderful plugin @xod! Thanks to you and @BoltBait.
  8. These (3) pieces I did late last year. They are the pre-cursors for my 'Porcelain Text' tutorial. Without experimenting with @MJW & @Red ochre's Edgeshader plugin, these wouldn't be made and Porcelain Text wouldn't exist. These were made using some of my shapes from my pack. Many thanks and hope you enjoy!
  9. Oops, my bad. I incorrectly assumed the poll was also open for two weeks...(I never checked ...never assume...) All fixed now. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks, @toe_head2001 for pointing that out!
  10. The Poll is now open for 'Valentine’s Day'. It will be closed on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018 - 2 pm EST and 7 pm UK time. World Clock. Thank you, everyone, for your beautiful entries. May the best win!
  11. Wow...that's one 'glittering' Enterprise...like a jewel out in space!
  12. Very surreal and spooky @LionsDragon The colors go well together to create the 'mood'! Good luck with your move...hope everything goes smoothly.
  13. @MadJik Am absolutely loving the 'City' series! More, more!
  14. Beautiful paperweight @Pixey! Can't wait to see those for real! Spring can't get here fast enough for me. I'm in the northeast and it's been brutal...
  15. @RMSTITANIC I agree with everyone else...that is one creepy dude!
  16. Wonderful new images @Seerose Always love the 'waterlily'...
  17. @MadJik both SubCity and SeaCity are very magical to look at!
  18. That is a certainty. Thicker fonts give better results!
  19. You found the height! Wonderful job!
  20. Congrats to @Pixey and @MadJik for those beautiful winning entries! Thank you @toe_head2001 for hosting....we're gonna miss you! And welcome @DrewDale back to the world of comp hosting!
  21. I got some interesting results. I see how the new mapping method 'wraps' around the object. I used dip's original emap and made more severe modifications to it. I'll be playing with this for sure! Thank you!
  22. Now, this looks awesome! Did you use @dipstick 's emap? Looks like it. I have something to play with! Thank you MJW! Will it give results similiar to this (this is what we were trying to duplicate; link from dipstick): Bevel Reflect Edit: At least that's what I was trying to do. I used your EdgeShader plugin to get some height in the middle of the letters to give it a beveled, though rounded look. That is also awesome Welshy!! What steps did you use? What map did you use? Oh, darn...just do a tutorial...
