jim100361
Some jets fly over a castle: I think maybe a touch of motion blur to the jets and not so sharp (maybe unfocus just a tad or lighten them) might help this. EDIT: Here's an (very quickly edited) example of trying to give a little life to a picture of an A-10 in flight: I added just a touch of motion blur and some trailing smoke and vapors. HELEN
Ooh...superb planet textures. Though I do have to admit, they reminded me of jawbreakers. I've been wanting them for so long now. jim100361
EDIT: (Removed quoted pic) I wonder how the SG-1 pic would've looked if the gate was replaced with an aluminum pie plate (heck it already looks almost like one with the center you put in it). nitenurse79
Why can some peole on here break the 800x600 px rule:/ ? as always jim100361 manages to do what HE wants on here. The rules should apply to everyone. Nebies get shot in flames, but jim is allowed to post what he wants and where ever he wants to do it. High time I left here, good bye all of you. How did I break the rules? All I did was quote his pic to which I was commenting. He posted the oversize pic. I didn't repost it larger. The only other time I was guilty of it was when I posted offsite from someplace other than my photobucket account. My personal work as far as I recall has always been 800 or less. As a matter of fact, 3 pics in his gallery, I comment on one, and it's my fault not his. Edited February 25, 2012 by jim100361

delpart
God texture work. The impression of the previously debated oversized image is good for a desktop splash. Quote *** Gallery at PDN-Fans

zookey
Wow.... I think all your work is cool, especially like the Panda!! The one that keeps drawing my eye is the earth-like planet. It reminds me of a jaw breaker candy that started out blue and has desolved down to the green layer... but that background just is to cool. I don't know what it is exactly, or how to explain it, but something about it just draws me in...... Really cool stuff... thanks for sharing. JaffaCoder
Thanks four your feedback I will make a jaw breaker soon. Maybe this one seems like a planet And here are some new pictures: I tried to make this with PDN and not with GIMP. But... yeah.... I also tried to improove my "3D-Interfaceparts" (don´t know the english word ) skills: And my personal favourite: (Direct link: http://img545.imageshack.us/img545/2493/3dtry2.png Looks better without other images and text around) Edited March 18, 2012 by JaffaCoder
barbieq25
Those swirls are not too shabby. You need a bit of definition with some white lines & then blur a bit more. The first one I like a lot. The interfaces look great! I love the borders you put on them. They really work for me. Well done! Quote Knowledge is no burden to carry.
