TrevorOutlaw Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 I checked with the Keyboard & Mouse Commands and would like to suggest a keyboard shortcut to expand the "More >>>" buttons if possible. Quote
Roly Poly Goblinoli Posted December 27, 2017 Posted December 27, 2017 (edited) Good usability observation. I would instead say it should show more colors automatically when starting PDN if the user closed PDN with more colors showing. Alternatively, offer to have it open by default according to the settings, similar to how defaults are provided for all tools. Edited December 27, 2017 by Joshua Lamusga Quote

TrevorOutlaw Posted December 28, 2017 Author Posted December 28, 2017 @Joshua Lamusga My thinking is by having a keyboard shortcut to expand the Colors window, it could increase productivity, and collapse the Colors window to make room for doing work. Quote
TrevorOutlaw Posted December 29, 2017 Author Posted December 29, 2017 (edited) Here is a short video of what you could do with the color wheel in PDN. To achieve it, hold down the shift key to have the color wheel display fans. Hold down the ctrl key to display a circle, and hold down the alt key creates a straight line. I didn't even know this was available. This is information isn't even available in the keyboard shortcut link above! Edited December 29, 2017 by TrevorOutlaw 2 Quote

Ego Eram Reputo Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 My oversight if these key combinations are not in the list of shortcuts. I'll add them in the next round of updates. Ego Eram Reputo Posted January 4, 2018 Posted January 4, 2018 Ok, added. BTW well done finding the Shift + Ctrl key combination in the Color Wheel! Ego Eram Reputo Posted January 11, 2018 Posted January 11, 2018 You've got to admit - it's a great way of creating a palette of colors with the same saturation Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
TrevorOutlaw Posted January 11, 2018 Author Posted January 11, 2018 I haven't used that shortcut that much, though. I often fiddle with the RGB and HSV to get a color I want. Quote
