  1. I too have been experiencing troubles like @Eli. As seen whilst composing: What actually turns out: line extending out from sleeve cuff. Will study your comments and video now
  2. Then - there's also the Smudge Tool - which can give really cool results too .
  3. You have to have the layer you want to work on "selected" (click on it with cursor so it is blue) in order to edit the layer. 1. Remember, if the image has a background it will obscure the other layers. 2. When it is blue, it means you can work on the layer. 3. If you want to edit this layer, you must click on it to make it active first in order to work on it. 4. If you don't want the white background layer, delete it or uncheck the box. Hope this helps. EDIT: Which is, of course, exactly what David said above .
  4. Hi Limon Great pieces you have here. In particular I love the Tiger image. And, the Cog-head is a scream - we once had a member called Dug who would have loved it too .
  5. A little something I made with your gorgeous shapes. I just love the ladybird.
  6. Hi Lynxster4 and Welcome to the Forum . Those Shapes are really good and you have mastered this plug-in really well. Thank you for your images and I look for to the Christmas edition.
  7. I was wondering what had happened to you! Missed you - but being busy is OK ...... better than some alternatives.
  8. Poll is open until Sunday 4th October 2015 till 11 PM EST World Time Conversion Happy voting and Good Luck everyone!
  9. There is still no response from @Chimay so I will, if nothing from him by 9:00 AM Eastern time/14:00 GMT tomorrow Sunday 27th, I will put up the poll for SOTW #137.
  10. That looks very professional @Max ................. looks like "The Donald" .
  11. Pixey

    Racer-X's shapes.

Dang - I was sure I'd commented on this last night (must have forgotten to hit post after a few) anyway .............. wanted to say that you really have mastered the use of the Shapes Plugin. Amazing results
  12. Do you mean this? : 4. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OK - I gave in and PM'd Chimay - hope he doesn't mind ................. if no reply or action in the next two days, I can close up and put up the poll until we hear from him.
  13. Aww - thanks so much @Max . It's really sweet of you to comment and say that . Oooops - missed thanking Racerx too ............ my bad ..... he can spank me
  14. @NN - Thank you so much for those lovely words. You certainly deserve a necklace of your liking after all that you have gone through lately. I hope Santa will read your post
  15. Very colorful - as usual - and rather hypnotic, in a very nice way
  16. I have in the past sent him a PM to remind him. I have resisted this time, as it's just possible this could begin to annoy him - someone else can do it for a change .
  17. So sorry to read about this Oceana - this guy is now viewed by me as a pervert. I think we should ALL now resist in posting when he creates new threads, which will be obvious. This now past being amusing.
  18. How times have changed. When I was fourteen I had no TV, no phone (no E.T. either ) no flush-able toilet, as I was living in the bush in Africa (you had to look before sitting ) No comics, I pods, I pads - or such things like that. The only star/war games for me was sitting on the ground (before looking too) to watch the stars and planets in space. I miss the simplicity of those times and I think that perhaps some fourteen-year-olds are just spoiled brats with no manners or decorum
  19. Thanks so much gals BBQ, Helen and Seerose. Yes, hubby was prompting me to add more shadow when I asked him his opinion. I thought I had ..... but could have done more
  20. Sorry - double post ........... an attempt at making glass.
  21. Hi @Sand Go to the Fonts folder on your OS - navigate to the Fonts in question, which will probably be UN-highlited. Right click on the font and choose Show. EDIT: After I posted I went to Adobe Typekit and downloaded a font. It was downloaded via Cloud straight into Word, but there is NO sign of the font in the Fonts folder. A mystery indeed .
  22. Thanks so much @Red, Helen and Drew for stopping by to comment - really - it's very much appreciated .
  23. Thank you @Gooney and @Dryda for the great comments . I seem to have jewelry on the mind ................... here's another: Just in time for Christmas
