  1. If you use this link to search it would have popped up immediately . But you do have to click on the link after you find it.
  2. WINNERS 1. Si Borg (16 votes) 2. Pixey (14 votes) 3. Barbieq (11 votes) Congratulations to Si Borg on his first win on his first SOTW - a very Welsh-like entry indeed! Thank you also to all who entered and to those who voted. Very impressive entries from everyone - thank you! I have PM'd Si Borg and hope to hear from him soon for the next theme . ************
  3. Thank you @Scrapbook - so glad you liked them . I only just got down to adding your snow globe .............. and what a great globe it is too.
  4. Argh .............. I'm feeling dizzy @Red .................. now I'm a dizzy blonde . I know ................. forgot the "a" in Holiday . Hubby says ..... just tell them it's the English way of spelling.
  5. 'Tis possible to do in Midora's animated Plugin: I know ............. I forgot the "a" . It's not my day today!
  6. Oh My ..................... a whole week's blonde moments rolled into one .
  7. Sorry, but I am confused about how to save the copy & pasted code into an .xmal . I've done the above mentioned ...... saved in notepad ....... but when I try to save from txt to xmal there is no choice in the drop down. I've tried to change the file name to .xmal - it does save, but looks nothing like the other saved .xmal's and does not show up in the Shapes folder. Would be great to know what I (dum-dum) am doing wrong here .
  8. Fabulous Christmas Shapes ................ so many beauties to choose from .
  9. You can align it after you type with this plugin. Also here is a good search link for looking for subjects in PDN.
  10. Hi Tim and Welcome. You can find a Plugin to do those rays here and Madjik's whole pack here. And on How to Add Plugins, please go here.
  11. Hi Mandy. You have to install the downloaded plugin from the first post. Here is how to install it before you can use it.
  12. To add to the great suggestions above, here are two videos which may be of help. Although done in an earlier version of Paint.net, the basics still apply. One and two Good luck.
  13. Hi @Star3 - Welcome to the forum. This could also be achieved by using Brushes, which can be found here. It's a bit tricky and is quite a lot of work, initially ......... but is a great tool nevertheless.
  14. Thanks @TR - I did what you suggest, but didn't get the whole thing to close up completely. Also, I notice that: 1. The cubic spline stops working after a certain amount of clicks, so I assume it is set to a certain number ? 2. To my detriment ..... I discovered you can only have 100 layers I'll be more careful now
  15. Ditto what @Lynster says as I've only just noticed this after making my packs. I suspect this is going to be a problem with anything more than a few lines. I've tried to 'clone' some lines in my animal packsince, and it's proving to be rather difficult .
  16. I was in ignorant bliss about the 'fill' problem until I watched the great video tutorial by TR, for which many thanks. However, sometimes the funny fill is rather cute IMHO .
  17. Herewith three festive animals for the Season. Please only use as outlines, as filled shapes are proving too difficult ATM. Christmas cat xmal's.zip
  18. STEAMPUNK VOTING NOW OPEN Poll is open until Sunday 22nd November 2015 till 7 PM EST (UK 12 Midnight) World Time Conversion Happy voting and Good Luck everyone!
  19. Dang! I didn't know about this video tutorial - I must have been under my rock . Very good/useful/informative and a very sexy voice. Now I understand so much more - did not know you could bring in an image to trace; + I never knew about the fill shape function. Thank you very much .
  20. Thank you for those nice words too. Please see the other thread for what you may not be doing in order to get the larger magnifications .
  21. @Scrapbook - are you:- 1. Holding down the Shift Key and then hitting the Zoom button (in normal mode) on the UI for magnification of 4 ? 2. Holding down Ctrl key and then hitting the Zoom button (in normal mode) on the UI for magnification of 8 ? To get rid of any magnification on the button (set it back to normal) just hit the zoom button until it cancels the present setting.
  22. Great entries 'peeps' - keep 'em coming .
  23. Awww - that snowman is adorable - well done . Glad you managed to upload your file in the end. The images can look OK to the naked eye when not magnified. I always zoom x 8 (Ctrl + zoom) at the end of a project - disable snap to - and look very closely at the ends to join up, which will be more apparent when zoomed-in. Also, a stray line may appear when one clones something and then forgets to move it. Good luck with the edits .
  24. No problems @Ego - you chaps are great and thank you for such a clever Shape Maker. (Now wracking my brain for the next thing to draw...... Hmmm ...... $100 bill maybe )
  25. @Ego - after losing work twice doing that yesterday I ain't going anywhere near those two positions
