  1. Ahhhhh - that's music to my ears @toe_head2001 it's going to save me a lot of time - many thanks. I really should have known that and given it a try
  2. Hopefully I can explain clearly . Forgive me but I am a bit shattered - all week in fact - due to a sudden death in my family and I'm rather shaken up and am not thinking too clearly. Last week I tried to use the code generated, by right clicking on the initial image posted and got a code like this: https://postimg.org/etc. I don't know if anyone noticed at the time, but after I tried that and posted the Poll, all you could see was a string of code and no image. At the best of times I am not very computer literate/savvy, so perhaps you are adding the letters to that code? I would be very happy if this were the case and could stop uploading them unnecessarily.
  3. @toe_head2001 Ahhh - I did not notice that they were Thumbnails - I assumed they were Hot Links . But, I don't see how you get a URL, or an IMG code, from the posted entries. When I right click I just get the choice to; copy image address and always get an https code, which the software doesn't like. I will change the Poll now from the Thumbs.
  4. Apologies everyone for the sizing of the images in this weeks' SOTW#176 Poll It seems that the software doesn't like horizontal entries and 'squishes' them savagely! Also ............. I think that Post-image is also cropping them - so a double whammy Let me explain how the poll works. We, as Comp Hosts, have to upload your submitted images to another site and then link back into the Poll software. I've tried using people's links from their posted first entry, but the software will not accept the format ; https. There are (as far as I can see) only two solutions to this: 1. I can save them from now on to Imgur. or, 2. After you have submitted your entry - and don't change it - you could PM me your IMG code or URL code, so that I can link right back to where you have your image. Suggestions will be most welcome EDIT: Sorry again .......... I just realized that you giving me a URL or an IMG tag, if you also used Post Image, will not help this problem. I will try Imgur next time and see if it's a bit better.
  5. Such pretty additions @Seerose. Always so colorful and dreamy
  6. The Poll is now open for voting on the SOTW#176 - Tattoos. It will be open until Saturday November 18th, 2017 - 2 pm EST and 7 pm UK time. World Clock. May the best skin win .
  7. Good to see you again @Rickhum
  8. @DragonsLion - those are mighty fine UFO's you have there Oh ....... your image is showing as a line of code
  9. This is so pretty @lynxster4 - (I'll check the rep button later - as for some reason it doesn't seem to be working )
  10. Lovely new additions @Seerose I'm in love with the dog and the duck
  11. TLS is this and is managed by Postimage. It's for security. You should be able to connect to them now as I am having no trouble. What is happening when you try to connect to them now? Can you log on via this here?
  12. I just tried Postimage and on the first try got a Gateway Error - tried it again and all is working fine
  13. Excellent photography on those 7 black & white shots @BoltBait. I think you could safely give up your day job and become a photographer Hmmmm - if it were not for the sushi and the snow, I could happily live in that cabin and I have no doubt you looked mighty handsome in the Coast Guard outfit I see you hail from San Bernardino - I used to live in Victorville and we could have met up for coffee, if I'd known
  14. @mottoman - that happened to me too when I did the tutorial, so I tried the link by @Maximilian for v3.5.11 and I put it in the Effects Folder and it worked for the latest version of paint.net Fuzzy Edge Detect for PdN 3.5.11.zip
  15. The theme this week is – "TATTOO" Chosen by – @Dipstick (SOTW #175 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature which looks like a: ‘TATTOO on skin or hide.’ The deadline for entries is 7:00pm (UK time) 2:00pm EST on Saturday 11th of November 2017. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules 1. Max signature dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as a signature. 2. Please keep your signature family friendly. 3. Keep to the theme that has been set. 4. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! 5. Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. 6. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. 7. There are three entries per entrant allowed. 8 . Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature, your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery 9. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will, perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.

  17. WOW - this is just awesome. You did it again! I think even Escher would have been jealous of this beautiful piece. I'm a bit surprised that the owl isn't in there somewhere . But I'm not complaining as I love little piggies more than anything. BTW - did the owl always have a cookie ...... me thinks it's new
