It appears that to do the hair, just use one color, and then add a "shine" on top of that.

@Illnab: when you say highlight, do you mean using white instead of black for shadowing?

If Bob's doesn't work you may want to play around with the tolerance on the madjik...er...magic wand...try setting it to 0% and see what happens.

I usually just use the magic wand to select the outside and then press the delete key...is that what you're talking about?

Hey all! I've just finished working on this...(4 hours ugh)...inspired by J2K's stuff, and I was wondering what everyone thought. Any suggestions as to what I can do better?

...? Does Paint.Net expand the canvas with the secondary color?

Huh...now it works. I could have sworn that I was doing Canvas Size and that's why I was having problems...I dunno...perhaps it was early in the morning and I was being stupid...thanks Jake and Madjik for the quick responses...I'm sure this will help someone else out as well. Ironically, I was working on a Jake2k style sig while trying to find the center...

Sorry, I can't seem to figure that out...when I try and increase the canvas size from 1x1 to 800x200, it changes the entire canvas to black...

Hey all, I'm having some difficulty finding an easy way to tell the center of the canvas...I'd like some way to mark it so I can draw lines & such through it. Does anyone have some suggestions? How do you guys (and gals ) make things centered?

At the rate I'm going... One thing I've been meaning to request for a while...Madjik, would it be too much trouble to put reset buttons on each of the sliders individually? Especially with plugins that have 6 or 7 different settings, I like to mess with each slider individually to see what it does...unfortunately by then I've forgotten what the default setting does. :?

Ah, the good old days where I was hesitant to install plugins (if the good Rick wanted us to have this effect, then the good Rick would have included it) have gone away and now I have five million plugins in my Effects folder.
