  1. He's used babelfish to try and translate his original German statement...from my limited German it appears that it's his first time, he wants to know how to sharpen a blurry picture, and he's tried using the sharpen tool but to no avail. Maybe someone can help him, thanks in advance. Anyone know better German?
  2. A what? It looks pretty good though, the inside looks a tad artificial imo. Amazing shadow though!!!
  3. All wallpaper is is just a large picture. Create a big picture and have at!
  4. Nice work barkbark! If only there was a better way to re-create the cuts in the middle of the image...all that would be left would be to add a semi-transparent outline to make it appear curved...anyone have any brilliant ideas?
  5. Very nice...if you (or someone) could recreate a gem from scratch, that would be the coolest thing EVER...
  6. Ah...if I was a more talented programmer, I would try and help out more. This is a wonderful program.
  7. If I have time in the lab, I download Paint.Net and the .Net framework manually and install them...our computers have that Freeze software or something that resets the computer every time you reboot.
  8. Picc84, I've always liked your sig(s)...but I've been curious, how much is created from scratch?
  9. Hm..."your current security settings do not allow this file to be downloaded"...IE7...sigh...we'll have to work on that.
  10. Looks good FrEak...one more question for Helio/FrEaK...I'm still having trouble getting the hex grid to have that kind of effect where it looks like it's dirty or rusty...looks like a clouds layer on top of a hex layer...so: A) How do you make it look like that? Helio, how did you accomplish that amazing glow on your grid? Sorry if I'm being too thorough. I'm really more interested in concepts than replicating images right now. God is in the details, so they say.
  11. Yep, large green/black clouds with dents set at 100, 100, 5. I also duplicated that layer and applied relief to it. Then I did a green grid layer with some glow, set it to overlay(opacity 120), and added another green/black cloud layer in between, set that to overlay(opacity 182)...and all was well.
  12. I can think of either zooming in a bunch and then selecting/moving, or if the surrounding area is transparent, selecting a larger rectangle. Hope this helps!
  13. Perhaps I will when I get back from Topeka this weekend... But if Helio wants to beat me to it, I won't begrudge him!
