  1. extremely useful plugin. I've only worked with it for about 1/2 hour but see that this will come in quite handy. thanks for the plugin .!
  2. look forward to seeing this doing the curves. keep up the great work I certainly appreciate the plug in makers, and value their fine work. .
  3. @usedHonda did you draw pyro's head on fire? is that paint.net overload
  4. I don't mind. Its pretty cool too. did you notice all three patterns are your pattern in variations. background just as you made, middle patch is a seamlesstexture distort mirror setting and the third button just an enlargement zoom in in layers rotate. and a swift color change like the pattern. Many possibilities and I just have begun to explore it.
  5. 4th would love this feature but....what happens when you have transparent secondary color. does that change as well? or would this only be in the full opacity? just for the record I'd love this feature and if you could combine with say a double clik to get the transparency it would be a++
  6. it reminded me of a coat one of the kids had when I was in school. hope you don't mind I used your pattern. "Jacob's poor patched coat"
  7. @void what you going to do with that pattern? where you taking that one from this stage?
  8. well I'm not a noob but I certainly know how to use this program. I have loads of posts , many pictures in the pictorium. But I know I'm a lousy Tut writer. But I also know I'm kind to newbies, there are ways to say wait awhile before you write a tut, and ways to dash young souls. I for one am frankly fed up with the bickering going on. If you all are mature enough to be on a forum then behave so. "The End of it Please"
  9. no it is a gradiant black primary and white secondary. two layers, one has oval cut out other a box shape, filled with different gradiants light purple semi transparent and other a darker grey solid gradiant. sin wave can not remember exact setting but it was small movement on top slider and think 1 on second. rotate layer and do sin again.
  10. no way Blooper I like his old gray streaky hair. I'd be more careful with when I did the drop shadows, and on which layers. this time around I jumped from face to hair to nose to eyes and all over the place. next time I'd make sure each layer for nose was all tied together , all the eyes stuff etc. I estimate by not doing in batches I added a good 20 layers or so that I didn't have to. Could have done several shade layers on one.
  11. well he's not perfect but I learned very much from doing this piece. There are some things I'd do differently on a picture like this next time, but overall I'm very satisfied with what I've accomplished.
  12. if you are going for realism on the cig isn't the inside portion of the filter end a slightly lighter tan shade, and don't forget the brand ring. and name. then the ashtray were you butt that thing out.
  13. @silent 9 you will have to show us the sheild when you get it done. I can't recall anyone doing one on the forum before but then again there may have been one and I might just not have seen it.
  14. that looks like that crystal background and possibly inksketch, for the background. I like your playing around picture a small word to help you bring it from a 7/10 to a 9/10 just go back in and fix those stray white pixels around the lettering.
  15. would like to learn how to make fireworks similar to the ones Madjik made for Ash's flower tut. thanks
  16. tried the tut out Ash only problem I had was with what light settings you have for the flower i kept getting shading on wrong side. but went with it anyways. the leaves I did were same flower shape no centre 3d cylinder all default settings except light which I turned off. think they came out well.
  17. @verndewd like the finished product. hand me the key i want to take that baby for a spin. looks like it can go warp speed. @Vlad you need to do a tut on the metal of that last sig. good job. like your laser shooting thru the middle novel idea.
  18. @rayaquaza well I certainly can tell who you are! very colorfull
  19. @tskimarcus13 I actually like the first one. the name is easy to read the subject matter is something that means something to you/ explains what you are interested in etc. and by the way don't belittle your talents. you have plenty, the fact that you even managed to get some sigs done and posted counts for loads. You keep reading the tuts, using the search function to figure things out and try new ideas and you soon will be wizzing along.
  20. hard to say I like the text style and placement in #1 but seems everyone is going that background lately. #3 isn't up to the standards of the others. mainly because of the text I'm not really a manga lover but my vote is either #2 or #4. If you still havepdn, use feather on that figure on #2 before flattening to background he's a little jaggy around the edges. and that's the one I like. but then again that's just my opinion, its your sig which did you learn the most on? and which appeals to you the most?
  21. question does this still work with MKT's 3d plug in? i certainly hope so or I'll most likely never move to the new version LOL! who has tried it give me a simple pic please. just one of you not everyone or Rick will brain me.
  22. @ Rostigalen not bad sig 7 out of 10... only thing I can think of is the name is a bit too small. you are more significant than that wee tiny name. give yourself some importance there. beef up your name I want to know who you are when I look at your sig.
