  1. I played around doing some awhile back check my deviant art pages ...with all the new plug ins with the new 3.2 version I'm sure that these could even be more improved. but here are a few and one has a few basic steps in the writeup. http://omagrandmother.deviantart.com/ar ... e-65704032 http://omagrandmother.deviantart.com/ar ... t-65652374
  2. @pyjo winter begins but don't forget the days are going to start getting longer tomorrow. YEA! .
  3. absolutely stunning ASH! did you use 3d plugin ? I've also been working on more realistic skin tones. mine is totally paintbrush, gassiaun blur and transparency changes. this is my work in progress
  4. I'm glad this rule has been implemented. the past few months on this forum have really been awful. Almost made me pull out of the program completely. there are several people I was tempted to ask a mod to bann because of their cutting and always negative remarks. I'm happy once again Rick, so in the new year I'll be back to the program 100%. take care have a great Christmas OMA (german for grandmother .... and yes Rick I'm old enough to be your granny! )
  5. 100% paint.net. drew everything using just the mouse, no stock images. Merry Christmas to you all. won't be back until the new year. Ciao OMA
  6. thanks for the quick reply. as I said I'm not a tech head so won't even presume to tell you how to write this plug in up. but saying that I am a fairly experienced PDN user and if I have difficulties figuring it out there will be others in the same boat. look forward to phase two of your plugin and hopefully you find some time to polish the user interface in the near future. thanks for your work on this plugin, makes my enjoyment of paint.net increase ++++++ OMA
  7. I'm liking this plug in. but why do I have to have two .dll's for it to work? and is this still in the works? I''d like a reset to default button at least, and maybe just a little text showing the range of numbers say works 0-300 0=1000 what ever for each axis. thank OMA PS I'm definetly not a tech head but from my end its a nice plug in but needs some work on the user friendliness factor.
  8. yes wither I did draw that dolphin. got a childrens book from the library on drawing fish and sea animals. felt foolish browsing thru the childrens area ... but now glad I did as it was easier than I thought it would be .
  9. my favourite is and has always been abstract art. but just wanted to let you all know that I am able to do realism as well. 100% Paint.net. and I did draw this with the mouse no tablet. it is not a scanned colored in image.
  10. do your text on separate layers, that way you can always go back and change it. also I leave the text to the very end. save your PDN just incase you need to edit. arrows change to the line tool and up near the top it says style check those drop down boxes out that's what you need PS this should have been posted in the general section don't be surprised if locked and then moved by a moderator this area is for tutorials only.
  11. That is my reply as well to those that have asked me for glass tuts. Same reply I had to give quite awhile back on da. just impossible to do a set pattern to acheive glass. there are so many variables, it seems to be an elusive property. but as you go along you get better at predicting what pieces will make glass eventually and what type of steps work, always seemed two steps forward and 3 back to me. 12. very good think you wanted a cd check this tut out ' viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4229
  13. Ben I really liked the clouds in your picture (top left insert). this was my attempt to make in 100%paint.net needs a few tweeks in curves I'm sure for a bit more metal but close?

  16. @Chris2for when I say that I just wanted to sing "the lollypop kid song" from the wizzard of Oz that is a fun picture.
