  1. Vector stuff is clearly not made for photos.
  2. Framerate trick, to those wondering.
  3. Ever looked in the the "/Documents and Settings/username/Application Data" folder? Firefox's way to handle add-ons (don't say plugins, it makes Tristan Nitot going angry) the update management in particular, is much more powerful and easy of use, but it needs a awfully complicated entrusting architecture. I'm not really sure Rick would do that. That's what is bad, it destroy all the purpose of "limited privileges". BTW, the "whole bunch of inconsistent various data repository formerly known as the My Documents folder" don't exist in Vista, at least the "let's put stuff randomly in there" habit seems to be less virulent.
  4. Brad, you're aware that now you've posted this, nobody will post in this thread, fearing to look like ridiculous?
  5. It's a white box. This is covered by the FAQ. I already stated that Parallels is more expensive than Pixelmator, which seems really like Paint.NET, with additional features. But if you really want to use it:
  6. You know what would be truly amazing? Take the GREYCstoration hacky stuff and made it a REAL plugin. I hope it's not too difficult, it's what I would tend to do once I've finally time to learn a bit more about C#.
  7. I think "Yes!" as in 'Yahoo!', 'Wipeeya!' or 'Scoobidoobidooooo'. He's happy you made this plugin. Me too , thanks
  8. Andrew. If you're going to answer to each somewhat-easy tutorial as much as you do now (well, this week especially or so), you'll be very very tired and disgusted in a week or so. The n00bish tutz problem arise every 2 months or so, next people got work to do, life to live, and so on. Last time it was Dan ranting about it, now it's you in particular, next time it would be me... Those problems appear in every community, that's nothing specific. Just let it be.
  9. Make pictures with Paint.NET, next open those with the best which suit your needs to print.
  10. I can't help but think his last post on "64-bit on the Desktop" can't be linked with his try of Paint.NET.
  11. Using a text processor to the sole purpose of printing a picture on a certain part of the sheet / on a certain size is BAD.
  12. Not directly from the program, sorry. You could save a picture of your work and use a more printer-friendly program like an image viewer such as XnView, or a text processor...
  13. TheVoid and salu, stop being awesome like that, it's annoying. I feel terribly jealous, and I don't like that.
  14. Nice! It's even usable with the keyboard! Thanks for sharing the source.
  15. I think it's because Paint.NET needs two clicks (well, 'drags') to define a selection. To its defense, Photoshop (7.0) do the same.
  16. In other words, you have to select what you want to be cropped, first, using the Selection Tool. After that, click the :Crop: Crop to Selection button.
  17. You can now resize the effect dialogs. This ability may disappear from the final version.
