  1. I'm wondering if your virus scanner is being overly protective. Can you check to see if your virus scanner has quarantined that file?
  2. Here's a quick way to do what you want, with instructions (no plugins required): Original table: Select only the table (I just did a quick job. You'll want to do better than me here.): Adjustments > Black and White: Add a new layer. Then select the color you want to make the table (I chose purple). On this new layer, press Backspace to fill the selection with your desired color: Press F4 to edit this new layer's properties and change the blending mode to Multiply. Click OK. Press Ctrl+D to deselect the table: As you can see, the table is now your desired color. Do Image > Flatten in order to finalize your image.
  3. Try this plugin: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/112730-content-aware-fill-2018-10-4/
  4. Yes, just click and hold your mouse button on one of the selection box handles and tap your arrow keys to adjust the size.
  5. There are no plans because the source code to Paint.NET is over half a million lines of code that relies on the .NET platform. Android doesn’t have the .NET platform on it.
  6. Yup. It crashes Paint.NET hard... I filed this issue in the official bug database.
  7. It’s true that I’m not Japanese, but I do love sushi and I have a touch of “yellow fever.”
  8. Maybe it mine: Effects > Selection > Blur selection edge
  9. Delete the white inside the arrow head. Then use outline object to create layers of color in there as desired.
  10. Ah! I didn't realize there were two images in that post. Yes, to convert a photograph to a line drawing, you will get the best results by tracing. But, if you're lazy, try the built-in Effects > Artistic > Ink Sketch (moving the coloring slider all the way to the left): You'll have to clean it up, but that should get you most of the way there.
  11. There's a lot going on in that picture. What part, specifically, are you having trouble with?
  12. Unless you are familiar with the code base, please don't presume to know such things... (The Paint.NET source code is over half a million lines of code and is VERY complicated.) BTW, this feature is on the priority list, it's just not near the top yet.
  13. I will add them to the plugin for the next release... which I am working on now.
  14. Maybe you can look at mine and get some ideas... https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/113452-black-and-white-plugin-v11-updated-nov-10-2018/ I could add a few new options to mine, if all you're after is the functionality. I'd be happy to do it. Which calculations should I add?
  15. If you're completely happy with Krita, use Krita.
  16. I can imagine an easy solution: move your keyboard within reach.
  17. Why limit yourself? This is exactly the best way to do it in Paint.NET. Sounds like you need to learn how to utilize the power of layers.
  18. If you want to learn how to create plugins, read these tutorials: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/109990-how-to-write-an-effect-plugin-tutorialsresources/
