  1. Please go here https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/113220-boltbaits-plugin-pack-for-pdn-v4212-and-beyond-updated-july-16-2020/ Update to the latest version. That bug has been fixed.
  2. I had not thought of this. Should there be a limit? If so, let’s make it high, like 5. We will have a standard poll at the end.
  3. Will one of the competition hosts step up and run this?
  4. What you have typed is not part of the proper syntax for user controls. I would recommend using the UI Designer to make what you want. Let it generate the code for you.
  5. Paint.NET has the ability to load PSD files via a plugin. If Photoshop can't read PDN files, maybe you should ask them for an appropriate plugin. EDIT: Oh, I see you're trying to load them into Krita. Maybe you should be asking the Krita folks for an appropriate PDN plugin. Or, have you considered doing your work in Paint.NET?

  7. Sorry, Rick. I gotta go with MJW on this one.
  8. If you have my plugin pack installed, use Effects > Photo > Combined Adjustments. Once you dial in the settings you like, you can use Ctrl+F to repeat the effect on other photos.
  9. Have 2 images open. Press the S key to cycle through the select tools a few times. Click on the other image to switch to it. Hover your mouse over the image area, then press the S key several times and see that nothing is happening. Sometimes I have to click back and forth between the two images quickly before seeing the behavior. Sometimes I have to repeat the process a few times (or a lot of times) before seeing the behavior. Just when you think it won't happen... it does. Seems random. But, it does happen. Sorry.
  10. I had to switch between 2 images a few times before I could replicate the problem.
  11. 1) Please don't post on old threads. The original poster asked the question 2 years ago and they probably have moved on by now. 2) Please don't post if you don't know what you're talking about. In fact, Paint.NET does have an HEIC filetype plugin which can be downloaded here: https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/116873-heic-filetype-plus-09-27-2020/ This allows HEIC files to be loaded and saved by Paint.NET. In the future, if you want to know if something like that is available, just check the Plugin Index and search for HEIC. I'm closing this thread to prevent more nonsense.
  12. You also might try updating your video drivers.
  13. In that case, I recommend doing lots of Windows Updates until there aren't any more pending updates. Then, do one final reboot and try Paint.NET again.
  14. This is not an acceptable plugin for Paint.NET.
  15. If the file is family friendly, please zip it up and attach it here for debug purposes.
  16. Does it disappear when you right click on the desktop and choose refresh?
  17. When saving, make sure your bit depth is set to "auto detect":
  18. This was a bug in Paint.NET v4.2.12 that was fixed in v4.2.13. Be sure you're running the latest version by clicking the gear and checking for updates.
  19. Oh, I’m sorry. I assumed you wanted a workaround.
  20. The lasso always draws a straight line from where you are back to the beginning of your selection. Use this, along with Control-Click to build your selection piece-by-piece:
  21. Instead of pressing Ctrl-V to paste, try Ctrl-Shift-V. This will put your pasted image on it's own layer.
