  1. Too late for the TGMagnitude competition. I was behind one objective.
  2. Hi @KenM Welcome to the Forum. Although I am not one of the experts I can make a suggestion to get you on the right track. I don't think there is a one stop plugin that will do your work for you. Your task can be divided into 2 steps. The first step is to import your image into a layer. The second step would be to import your crochet pattern into a layer below your image. There are many ways of creating your own patterns or capturing one from another source image. It's just a pattern. Change your image layer to overlay and if your crochet pattern is black and white - you should get the effect you are looking for. Let us know if this works. Other members might have better suggestions than I. Hope this helps
  3. @Ego Eram Reputo "Allows paint.net to save images as PDF documents" is what it says in the index. I never knew it could open as well. Might I suggest a minor edit to the index; "Allows paint.net to open or save images as PDF documents" With all the tuts being converted to PDFs - this plugin file type is a handy tool.
  4. I could draw the enterprise a million times Not fully there yet - but I did make leaps and bounds getting there with this stage Thank you @Woodsy Trekkie for life @LionsDragon Waiting for some good images of discovery so I can start again.
  5. This one is for @MadJik - Been trying for months to get it right! Thanks to @welshblue for showing me the path to get there Thanks go to @Rick Brewster and @toe_head2001 for recompiling and fixing the ability to save these XML files that are so instrumental in designing an image. Still a work in progress..............
  6. I too lived with the issue @toe_head2001 but never thought of it as a paint issue - more a windows shortcoming, After reading the latest post - I looked again and here's what I see;
  7. Hey @Rick Brewster Never really considered it an issue as in some folders the preview image would show and in others it wouldn't. My test case was looking in "recent files" under¨"quick access". After installing your beta version - opening these "default Paint" icons and performing a save - the image reverted to the proper preview image. Also after reboot they showed up too. I would consider the issue resolved for WIN10. Note2 - I thought the AGIFs were not associated with paint - but they are! Those thumbnail images are still not showing. The GIF that is showing was made in paint so they are OK. I bet you know the reason for this (Windows related I bet)
  8. I:ll take that as a request @MadJik
  9. Congratulations to all the winners (too many to list) Your entries inspire me to see there is still much to be learned. Thank you @toe_head2001 for hosting.
  10. Hi @HURRICANE Welcome to the Forum Copy your image to the clipboard Select the exact position you want your pic to be in with any selection tool and keep it highlighted Use this plugin to position your pic in that exact location Surprised MJW didn't mention it. He also made another one
  11. Hi @nnevatie Welcome to the forum. I think this answers your question. If not - get back to us. Expand the Color palette by selecting more and set the color to Hex 000000 White is a combination of all colors. Black is the absence of any color. I think this is what you are looking for. All values 0
  12. Hi @SaidTheSea Welcome to the Forum Here:s the best tut I have found for making trees It should at least get you started on the concept. You can modify bits of it to get it to look like what you consider a "pine tree" Make a few different variations and save as individual PNG's. Then - on separate layers - use : 3-4 Layers should do it to give you that Forest effect Hope these help
  13. Discovery courtesy of Paramount of course.
  14. @Santiago Welcome to the forum I think your math is a little off. If you need every 29th line to be thicker you need to incorporate that into the size of your image. The way you describe it gives you a 4X4 square grid. If you want every 29th to be thicker - add 4 more to the size of the image (120X120) and make those lines 2 pixel wide. If you still need thin lines to separate your squares smaller - you will also need to add more pixels to your image. As @welshblue suggested - Graph paper will work excellent to accomplish your task.
  15. Thank you @LionsDragon Learning more and more what can be done with the plugins @toe_head2001 Original stock Image I found. There are quite a few out there.
  16. I may have cheated using DDS Files found on my PC 2 were recolored using some plugins.
  17. Stock Image found on the Internet. Everything else 100% Paint.
  18. @null54 @toe_head2001 @Scaramouche That got me curious. Just timed mine at 15 secs for 769 Files. I always considered that normal behavior when loading this plugin.
  19. All good things..... No worries - No Rush Yes Yes Hope you understand Note 2.
  20. Hi @RoosSkywalker That pack has not been updated for the newer versions of Paint. Last update to the pack was 2010. Fortunately all the effects still work in Paint 4.17 And yes - you can trust the link. Hope this helps.
  21. Hi @toe_head2001 Messages won't let me attach zip file Zip file contains both project file and exported shape to show problem rendering still exists. Before I correct it, I am sending you the files to see if you can determine why it is distorting when exported to the shape. When printing from the project file it renders correctly. At least this narrows it down. Note 2
