Hi @Pendulum128 and welcome to the forum. 🙂
When you are using the Export command, you are saving the shape as an .xaml file. You cannot directly save to the Shapes folder because Paint.net is currently open.
Where do you save your .dhp files to? I made a folder under 'Documents' labeled 'Saved Shapes'. I save my newly created .dhp files and exported .xaml files to that folder.
Then, making sure PDN is closed, I copy the .xaml file into the Shapes folder and re-open the program; then I can select it under the Shapes tool button. You do not open it with PDN; you need to copy it to the Shapes folder.
Does this help?? Let us know.

Wonderful! Works now for me. Also, nice sharp conversion from PNG to PDF, too. (I only tried it on a png file) This will save a lot of headaches tweaking PDF's.
Thank you @otuncelli! ☺️

I imported a PDF file into Paint.net and made some changes to it. I saved it as a PDF and the resulting page was blank.
I also experimented with a PNG file and has the same result. Here is the error message:
Maybe I'm not using this correctly? @Marilynx may need to experiment with this.

I would use this @otuncelli. I alter PDF files frequently at work. I use Paint.net to do this. Let me run a few tests. Thank you! 😊

I've been playing around with some plant shapes and and did a small series of succulents.
Don't mind the background, the succulents are the stars of this image.
Hope you enjoy it.

ShapeMaker - by the Dwarf Horde v1.7.0.4 (May 21, 2022)
in Plugins - Publishing ONLY!
Posted
FYI @toe_head2001 The installer does not run for me, even if I run as administrator. It simply won't open.
In the download .zip version, it is still version 1.7.0.1. Can you update the zip to v1.7.0.2 please? Thank you!
