AHh, I see what you mean now. A 5-pointed asterisk. Looks exactly like the one on my keyboard in fact...

Allright ... ya happy? I had to bust out my mad trigonometry skillz to do this. Each 'spoke' is spaced 72 degrees apart (or 2pi/5, for us math people).

It'd look better (imo) if the asterisk had colour in between the prongs. I understand that you may not have finished that totally yet, anyway there's my 2 cents :)

Son, someday you will make a girl happy for a short period of time. Then she'll leave you & be with men that are ten times

better than you can imagine. These men are called musicians. :D

NICE. GIMP, thy doom draws nigh!

I'm liking the monthly update plan, and arrowheads look fantastic. Clever "not-saved" feature, too. I like that.

As for the no more help file... I dunno man. ~4 MB isn't that big of a file, particularly with the widespread availability of broadband connections. Also, the .NET Framework 2.0 isn't even a "recommended update" via Windows Update in XP -- it's an optional one. That makes ordinary people have to WORK at getting .NET Framework 2.0, and... I dunno. I really haven't been impressed with people's ability to navigate through a computer or programs...

...Just my thoughts. I honestly don't know why the .NET Framwork isn't just installed as a critical update. So many programs are dependent on it...

The second image shows the line style dropdown and the first does not. Are we still going to be able to configure the actual make up of the line?

No I just accidentally uploaded an older version of the image.

Edit: Fixed.

The help file is not being removed. It is being moved online.

4 MB isn't a lot except when you multiply it by 400,000 downloads a month.. Suddenly you have 1.6 TB worth of bandwidth that can be used for something else. Or maybe I can spend less on hosting, or whatever. Don't think about it from your perspective, think about it from mine!

I'm not sure where your discussion about the .NET Framework launched from.

I'm in the middle of uploading this to the auto-updater, mirrors, and updating the website, but figured I'd link it here so you all can grab it right now if you want:

Maybe you should make the help file available as a separate download.

Yes, definitely! I hate those app with online-only help - not everyone is online all the time!! Here in Europe, in many parts, fast broadband access is *NOT* so readily and cheaply available as in the US. Also, when you're on the move, you usually don't have online access - but you might need the help.

So to sum up: I don't mind having to download the help separately - as long as I can still download it and keep it locally on my notebook.
