juanz-dezignz
I made a banner for a dealer wich my dad works in. I asked the boss if I could show him something I made, He answered yes. So I got home saved it to a disk, went back and showed it to him and everyone else. He liked it. He offered me $1.500.00. And I am only 15. I wanted to say thanks to PDN for making a money-maker. Here is the banner: Quote --CREDIT TO RAVEN--
Alex G
Is that you who have made the banner on their site?
trickman
If you're gonna sell it, you better spell "business" right... Aatwo, strike at me now xD. Still, nothing special on the image

RaveN
i can see a large company paying that much for a new logo, but not for a simple banner.
Rick Brewster
$1.500.00? If you mean $15 then maybe but if you mean 1,500 than your lying your < no swearing > off. Whoa man chill out. Instead of being a jerk about it why don't you guys point him in the right direction, that of making a banner that really rocks? Agreed. juanz-dezignz, you may want to make sure that the car in the banner is not a copyrighted image. If it is, that could cause the dealer your dad works for a lot of trouble. Also, the quote on the bottom looks a little washed out where it runs into the car. I would give that part some kind white or lighter colored drop shadow. B1lancer
I agree with the comments above, the text when it gets to the car is a little difficult to read. I must admit I find it difficult to believe that somebody would pay $1500 for that.
jake2k
Sorry if i came off as a dick but you dont need to make up a story to show off a banner you made. If he posted it and said something like: I made this banner for a car dealership and would like to see what ya'll think about it. Then I would have been more than happy to give him some constructive criticism. Edit: Its going to be hard for me to believe anything you say when I see you post something like this: And then make something like this: You got something to tell us? Rick Brewster
jake2k, I already told you to chill out. I don't like to give second warnings. This is not a forum for keeping score and investing in grudges. If you don't have something decent to say, then don't say anything at all. I don't care how awesome or not-awesome something is. I thought about that last night... (Sorry Rick) I don't like the text. It's hard to read with that shadow. And you could use some feather in the car too... Maybe that would make it a bit better... MadJik
Nevermind Juanz-Dezignz... I think everyone has apologized! Anyhow, this kind of banner for $1500 it is really increadible for someone who is graphic designer (I believe some of us are). Now it is more clear : $150... Also you already sold it so why do you expect us to guide you to change it? You should have ask for help before perhaps! Trickman is correct you should change the text (white shadow or red color font...) Have you try with other font (i.e. Times Roman) it is more "classic" and "clean"!
