I need help with uploading signatures and profile photos

Recommended Posts

I have been having a lot of trouble with this site lately. I just ignored it for a while, but now i'm realy ticked off about it.

Whenever i try to upload a profile image, it says "The file you uploaded is too large" Even though the image i uploaded is under 150x150 pixels and is only 5KB. How do i fix this?

Also, how do i upload a signature? It looks like all i can do is have text as a signature. I'm realy lost.

Any help will be appreciated.

The profile picture function is turned off. Nothing to be done about that.

For signature, upload to a hosting site, and enter the image URL provided by the site.

I'm not sure about the profile image.

Signatures: You need to upload to a file sharing site such as Photobucket or Imageshack.

When you upload, it will have options to share the image. You need to copy the code for Forums. It will start with http://

Just paste that into your signature and it should work.

No, it cannot be turned back on. It was turned off because it was confusing to have both a profile picture and an avatar. There's really no reason to have both on a forum.

Profile pics have been turned off. Stop trying.

The only profile pics you see are those of the very first users who logged & uploaded a profile pic before the option was permanently turned off (mostly Admins & Mods but there might be a handful of others).
