Bob
That pic needs a little red eye reduction... Exactly what I thought when I saw it. Bob
Notice that I have compared a free ultility with a $500+ program. You know what that means? Paint.NET is so good that it can be benchmarked by Photoshop. http://www.puissance.ca/blog/2007/04/19 ... -paintnet/ Quote No. Way. I've just seen Bob. usedHONDA
Someday, they will change that into: "Photoshop is so good that it can be benchmarked by Paint.NET." EDIT: I'll try to paraphrase like Rick: "Paint.NET is so good!" "...benchmarked by Photoshop." barkbark00
Here is something I noticed while looking through some really old posts here on the forum. Its from topic #6... Well, Paint.NET's target functionality at the moment is to be, on an exponential scale, in between Paint and Photoshop. In other words, "10x better than Paint, but 1/10th as good as Photoshop." Or at least that's the way you could put a marketing spin on it. Now its more like "100x better than Paint and 8.5/10ths as good as PS!" Crazy Man Dan
Well well! Top 20 Products of the Year? There were quite a few products last year! Congratulations! @pcgeekman: Indeed I do have Terragen, as well as the TG2 Tech Preview Beta, but may I ask: What does Terragen have to do with PDN and how it's getting noticed? Rick Brewster
And actually, looking at it further, that "Top 20" is just the first 20 in their "Top 100" list. Paint.NET was one notch below the XBOX 360 Elite, and it beat out the new 1 TB hard drive, the iPod, the 24" Dell 2407 monitor, ... and even Gmail, YouTube, and Firefox! You'd think they would have sent me an e-mail about it...
