  1. Thanks Welshblue, a stand would be a good addition, that's worth a try for sure
  2. Thanks Pixey, blackpenny, Helen. It does remind me of something to do with a motor, I don't even know what I was setting out to make It looked cool so I stopped where I was and posted it here
  3. @ nitenurse - That sounds like a good idea, I toyed with placing a grid of some sort in there, I didn't think of fan blades @ Minners71 - Thanks for that - I must say clipwarp is a very flexible plugin
  4. A testament of just how good this software is and all the plugins that expand our horizons even further
  5. Cheers nitenurse, as soon as I saw the walkway I knew it was a clipwarp waiting to happen
  6. Cool stuff here, Vista Rainbow is well made. Haeri Blue-Light is my fave though. Nice start.
  7. Could you not perhaps use the line tool on a new layer to add a little to the E and then run AA on it? to be honest I didn't even notice a flaw it the E until you just pointed it out
  8. It looks pretty good to me, what's wrong with the middle bit?
  9. Good result on the watercolour.
  10. Is the dark grey parts going to be where the sky goes?
  11. Nice work on the foil nitenurse79, top out come blackpenny very eye catching. To echo Sasha, I also think this plugin is worthy of pinning
  12. Thanks Goonfella, I think the colour of the walls really made the image work, its an almost monochrome without been monochrome (if that makes sense?)
  13. I guess I asked for that one, as soon as I typed it
  14. Thanks yellowman - indeed clipwarp is a great plugin and very inspiring too, I end up looking for things to use it on, that picture was perfect for it. Thanks Helen - I kept the drop shadow really low so that the roundel would blend in more, I didn't dare go down that walkway though, even in daylight hours
  15. Stunning work on the car Goonfella, amazing detail and so realistic, top marks for that one
  16. Thanks Welshblue, It was one of those shots that I knew I could make good use of.
  17. 11 Entries in 3 days - That's got to be a record.
  18. Thanks blackpenny, I'm pleased with the result I'm glad I was not alone in those old locations though, its pretty weird to be walking through an old railway station and hearing trains, but not seeing them.
  19. Thanks Sasha & nanettealsop & Helen, it is a very strange place along some of the unused lines and tunnels, I'm lucky to know someone kind enough to show me places that the public are not usually permitted, glad you like the image too. The roundel (london underground symbol) was straight forward to make, just an ellipse and a line. Helen - What I did was duplicate the original black aeroplane clip art, re coloured one red and unticked it. Ran object edge on the black one and then clipwarp. I then moved the red one to the top and I think it was either overlay or multiply, then just a once over with AA's Assistant. I used the same method with the red frame too I'm getting kind of clipwarp fever now, I look around at things to take a picture of so that I can add a twist to it
  20. Just giving credit where its due thanks for the smiley link, I did mean to post a reply in the other thread, but forgot.
  21. I too think it would be a top competition Sasha. Looking at what Welshblue has done with your clipwarp ellipse picture just shows how fresh eyes can change an image
  22. As previously mentioned by Sahsa in the comp ideas thread, a collab style comp would be a great way of people working together On the topic of grunge nanettealsop, please don't get too grungy your sweeter side is just as good in your artwork
  23. Very nice remake of the ellipse Sasha, a great addition by Welshblue, I would never of thought about a background for it, but it sure does work a to Welshblue for his creative mind.
