  1. Nice job on the KT image, the colours and lines are really good.
  2. RFX - Nice corrosion on the font and I think the metalic background is pretty cool. Skullbonz - If the word - IN - was placed a little to the right it would have sealed the deal, that way all the words would be "in the box" perhaps removing the colour frame too (not needed IMO) RFX - 3 Skullbonz - 0 RFX wins
  3. That still life looks impressive larger I like how minimal it is, nice clip warp too, a job well done.
  4. Cheers Daniels and blackpenny, glad you like them. I'm still not seeking a clipwarpers cure yet though
  5. Indeed industrial strength does look like a Welshblue works, great details, the puzzle is something I have bookmarked for working on sometime, I like your idea on it. To agree with Sasha and Pixey, the plant looks odd in size and it needs planting, you could make a new layer, use the brown colour from the dirt, paintbrush around the base on your new layer, then run a little Gaussian blur on it. All in all great stuff going on in this gallery
  6. Source image adapted from Here Background own photo.
  7. Thanks Sasha & Helen. The zoomed background was an afterthought really, but it worked pretty well IMO. The text and title came to me later on in the making of it, the original I was working on used stained glass but it didn't look right so I used the heavens and got the outcome I was hoping for. The sig was clipwarped from an image of snow capped mountains and then the original background was zoom blurred. I also duplicated the text and flipped / transparent gradient to add a little depth to it. I must say it looked pretty bland until I zoomed the backing, I like the blue & white too, it reminds me of a clean and fresh feeling (not sure why, but it does) Thanks for the comments and for re-visiting
  8. Drop shadow could be your friend here to add a little depth. As for the lines, try using the line tool > on another layer (or layers) And then running Gaussian blur on them. Your not far off with what you have so far, it just needs to stand out a little more
  9. Nice one on the win yellowman, to echo nitenurse here a very worthy win. good runner up entries too for Pixey & dug. Top entries all round Kudos again to nitenurse for the smooth and rapid running of the comp.
  10. Once you have removed the white block grab the rectangle select tool > then select around your car with it, next grab the move tool > then while holding Shift on your keyboard, re-size the image to fit your banner. Once you are happy with the size and position click deselect. > :Deselect: To soften any edges out use either AA's Assistant or feather.
  11. There is a custom frame plugin for paint.net here http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=9147 but you would still need to rely on google for frames in the style that you are looking for to use the plugin.
  12. Your best option is to press F1 on your keyboard and read the online documentation / help files. This will explain all the features paint.net has to offer
  13. See the screenshot below pointing you to the clone stamp tool
  14. then you need to update it click on the top most download in this thread http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=1854
  15. Nice use of the cell texture plugin on your new one Sasha. I used it as stained glass in a sig, this looks cool how you have done it.
  16. First you need to reach for the rectangle select tool and select around your object, then use the move tool to reposition the "unicorn" to where you want it to be, then press enter or click on deselect :Deselect:
  17. Good use of colours on Mirror Mirror Pixey, the detail is top work too
  18. Creative work so far, very nice textures.
  19. A nice, varied collection of images here, very creative and with great details.
  20. I will guess that most users on here will just click on the little Red X that shows up when you hover your mouse over it. It deletes the image from within paint.net, but still retains it in your picture library, plus if you have made changes after you have clicked the Red X you will get a prompt asking if you wish to save the changes. See enclosed screenshot. A simple work around for you would be to open your images in explorer first and pick the images you are going to edit, as Rick mentions, the last thing anyone wants in paint.net is a delete key.
  21. Thanks blackpenny - A support group yes, but no cure for me either, glad you like the new stuff. Thanks Daniels - Sometimes its hard to resist using it, but It is very effective and as you may have guessed, very addictive.
  22. To agree with minners71 here I would have used a smaller border, a few of the circles are "cut" into with the border you have here. Still a nice clean sig all the same
  23. Thanks Helen - I have got clipwarp down to a fine art now (I think) So many possibilities. On the No Running image I used Curves+ and one of These on the picture after I had used clipwarp, this gave me a vintage feel to it but managed to maintain the glossy/glassy roundel. The text was clipwarped from the modified (curves+ / vintage curves pack) The second image was zoom / blurred, made B&W after the clipwarp and then using Trail 3D on a duplicated layer gave a great result (just purely and experiment) My new banner was just a standard clipwarp creation
  24. Thanks Sasha - Once again two more pictures just begging to be clipwarped Thanks dug - I Appreciate the feedback, it is an interesting plugin to say the least Thanks Welshblue - I just made my new banner with another tube photo. I'm getting far too addicted to clipwarp again
