  1. Nice one IIke I like it.
  2. First time using colour aberation for me too.
  3. The C.O.D one isn't that bad apart from the C.O.D part and maybe if it wasn't so wide.
  4. As above has said just remember to put your selection back to replace after changing it using the drop down menu, otherwise you will be shouting at your PC because you can't select something.
  5. Posting this from my ps3 so a bit awkward to add links but use the search engine and search for aa assistant or plug in index using it will improve your work 100% Now posting from PC dpy's pack BoltBaits pack DPY's pack includes Aa assistant and BoltBaits includes feather, once installed both effects can be found under Effects > Object Heres a little example of what it does. You want to make a killzone sig and find this image. Using the magic wand you remove the white giving you this which looks good. You then add a new layer under the image and fill it with a blue to black gradient and notice his legs andgun have random white pixels showing . So you select your render layer and run AA assistant do get this. Click on images with mouse wheel to open in new tabs. Here is a link to the plug in index. PLUGIN INDEX
  6. I have to agree I love the fact that they are not too cluttered it really makes them stand out, great sigs.
  7. It may be annoying but it does make your final image so much sharper, can't see why aa or feather wouldn't of smoothed it out though. Sometimes use a combination of both feather at 2-3 px then run AA at default settings and if need be run feather and AA again. Did you run AA on the final image if so that might be your problem you need to run it on the individual layers as you add them, so paste in your render, position it then run AA or feather.
  8. Good work although a little jaggy try using aa assistant or feather plug in. Also for me its a little too large try 370 x 120 I find its a really nice size for sigs. Another tip I'm sure its been mentioned before work at twice the size than scale it down, so for the dimensions I mentioned before open your canvas at 740 x 240 and once you are finished reduce by 50% this will help to make it sharper.
  9. I challeng thee with this. Cut out my own render from this. venom Everything else is paint.net.
  10. Is the current sig battle now void as ninjamandans entry is no longer showing ?
  11. Guys you cannot vote then edit out your vote later its really not fair, also ninjamandans sig is now no longer showing. May I suggest that people taking part in this go to page 1 and please read the rules ignorance is not a valid excuse.
  12. Its polite to wait for a battle to finish before jumping in guys. Someone has to get 3 votes.
  13. Love your 2 new ones, awesome work.
  14. @Ninjamandan try putting images in a folder called PICTURE so your PS3 can read it. Failing that plug in your USB drive navigate to your photos on the PS3 XMB find your USB stick and press triangle and select SHOW ALL it should come up then.
  15. NMD - 0 The Howler - 3 NMD - A bit too random for me the c4ds look very pixelated and the render is not cut out very well. The howler - Has a nice flow to it and like the cut out symbols but the cards could do with sharpening up a bit. The howler wins. I will enter this not made for me but a Russian friend.
  16. Ninjamandan21 3 TFPrime 0 Both seem a bit blurry and no real focus to primes one. Winner Ninjamandan21 I enter this one:
  17. sfifer 1 The howler 2 I too like the fact that it is not a render sig but something a bit different. They both could use a bit of AA though. Do you have to enter a sig that you have made for yourself or can you enter with one you made for someone else ?
  18. Glad I could be of help. I was wondering if you could explain the different templates you have made and when you use them, especially the ones with the spirals ?
  19. Its already easy enough to do the horizon one, just open a new layer and draw a horizontal line, hold down shift to make sure it stays level. Go back to the layer with your pic on and use the and right mouse button to rotate, if you need to rotate just a small amount use the arrow keys on the keyboard while holding down the right mouse button. Then its just a case of recropping the image. As for the 2/3rds one here is how I would do it. Open a new project and add new layer :AddNewLayer: and on this use the rectangle tool hold down shift to constrain it to a square and choose a size that will be easy to divide into 3 so say 900x900 draw vertical lines and horizontal lines 300px apart again hold down shift key to keep them straight. Crop this using the crop image function in the layers menu, delete the background layer and save as as .png to preserve transparency. Now when working on an image go to layers menu at the top of page and select import from file this will load the grid into a new layer you can then move this with the move tool and resize it by clicking on one of the corner nubs. Once you have it in position use the magic wand tool on this layer outside of the grid then select your picture layer in the layers window and hit control+X Hope this helps.
  20. Try downloading pyrochild's plugins For instructions how to install plugins Go Here
  21. With regards the ellipse tool if you draw it on its own layer :AddNewLayer: you can then move it around by using the tool and resize it by clicking on one of the nubs and move them ( remember while moving the ellipse you can use the arrow keys on the keyboard to move 1px at a time ) If you cannot see the nubs as they are too close to the edge of canvas draw a new selection around it using either , or and remember to hold the left mouse button down when using arrow keys to resize, when finished press ctrl and D to deselect it. Also while using , or holding down left mouse keys enables you to size them and if you press the right mouse key at the same time you can move their position. Looks like I was too slow pdnnoob beat me.
  22. I can't be 100% sure, but I have been using it a lot on my avatar and the first one was Ok ( this was made a few days ago but the more recent one had the lump ) So went back to the old avatar.
