I see the Render > Clouds but I see no evidence of julia fractal; Render > Flames maybe but no fractal.

You might like to try Bevel Selection on the text (Bevel Selection is a plugin which can be found in BoltBait's Plugin pack) and be sure to have only the text selected, not the whole layer. Also you may find it helpful to duplicate the text layer, darken the lower text layer with Brightness/Contrast and move it slightly over in one direction. This shoul give the effect of popping out text. In regard to the santa bag, if what you mean by line quality is that it looks somewhat pixelated, then the AA's Assistant plugin should take care of that. (AA's Assistant is a graphic designer's best friend) Hope that helps and good luck to you.

Keep trying new ideas for shirts all the time though. Sometimes it takes a few attempts before an idea catches wind so to speak. (I know from experience) Btw you should ask him what it was he didn't like. That way you know what direction to take or not take when making designs. (It saves tons of time and effort)

Well I went to the effects program folder and it was named "Smudge" ,but in paint.net when I select the plugin for use, it's listed as Smudge BETA. So I was confused on that contradiction

Umm, so I've had the Smudge Plugin for awhile and all has been well. But then after installing (what I thought was) an updated version (it's named Smudge BETA) , and it doesn't have all my brushes, only the one it came with. When I went to find the old plugin, I only found the same one. Can anyone help me out?
