  1. This looks like an awesome plugin. I reckon with a few more variables or whatever its called in code language, this plugin could produce pretty similar results to this plugin for PS: http://www.redfieldplugins.com/filterFractalius.htm
  2. I think you should keep your artwork here. So what if there are quite a lot of people who make tags and stuff, it shouldn't stop you from making your own art. People don't disregard your artwork because its not tags, they probably give it more respect. Keep that in mind, mate.
  3. Try it, it doesn't look too difficult. The hardest bit is probably the shape.
  4. the one with the magic hat is awesome. did you make the hat in pdn too? Either way, great work!
  5. The leaves fabric is pretty awesome. Really clever use of displacement. Good job!
  6. Really awesome drawing and colouring skills. Awesome stuff as usual oma.
  7. Whoa.. i forgot about my gallery until now.. hehe _________ Thanks for the comments everyone. I appreciate it a lot.
  8. ^ If in doubt, Google is there for you. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rule_of_thirds
  9. Try hitting Ctrl + Alt + 8 for [ and Ctrl + Alt + 9 for ]. It might work. Thats how the get the euro sign via keyboard. Its on the same key as "4" but to the right of it; it may be the same with you but with [ and ].
  10. Kemaru gmv. Just really good all round. Great smudging too.
  11. How about the theme could be just a generic word/phrase that has multiple ways of expression. It would be cool to see how diverse the creativity on the forum is.
  12. Congrats Sharp. A well deserved win! Really cool sig by the way.
  13. I advise you zoom in enough to be able to control the points. Just remember that the shorter the gradient you want, the more restricted you will be, as you have less pixels to work with.
  14. Yellowman, really creative use of displacement to create a really cool semi-realistic icy landscape effect. Awesome stuff. Possum, great textures on the bamboo piece. Looks pretty realistic. Great job. ________________ Something i'm working. I was just looking at Apple's logos and thought i could do something cool with the rainbow one. This is stage 1: The result will be much better than this. Shading, shadows, glares, etc.
  15. You could create a lens flare in PDN; it'd be quite difficult though. imo, the plugins available for a lens flare don't quite cut it yet. Just take a look here and try and create some of them in PDN if you're up for a challenge. Or you can just use 'em.
  16. Yeah, but this, imo, is the the next thing. Yeah. It'll open the layer properties window as usual, but it'll be extended to show a list of layers on the right. you can click on any layer in the list and edit its properties like normal. Its just an easy access sorta thing.
  17. I was wondering if it would be possible to have a layers list inside the Layer Properties box. See the attached image to see what i mean. If we had this feature, i think it would be easier to edit and play around with layer properties of different layers easily, as you don't have to close the layer properties window, double click on another layer to see the properties to edit them, and so on. With this feature you can simply choose which layer you want to edit the properties of in just one click. I think this idea would be really useful? Do you guys think so too? or not? If its a good idea, Rick, any chance of having it implemented?
  18. Run Height Field to Normal Map on the B&w image to your liking. Make it black and white again. Then put this layer above the image you want to apply the bumps to. Set the blend mode to overlay. Lower opacity and mess with the brightness and contrast of the B&W image to get a result you like.
