Welcome to my video log. I will update this frequently with videos to help you improve your skills from your head master, tHs. To begin, this is no way a promo for my youtube account, or any other youtube account. New one. Sorta tried the "Champjev" style: Awesome tag, def the kind of quality you see out of the typical photoshop users on gamerenders and stuff. I would current it :wink: Yeah, I'm a reg on SigResource and go to GR for renders. I got into sig making after reading your novice tutorial.. and lemme tell you.. I use to be VERY bad. All my really good friends through tag making like WolfganG, Forsaken, Desi Chico, +mw.Idiom.. all of them I met back in march and they really helped me improve. Edit: I use photoshop very often, but keep those tags seperate then the ones I post here. I got started tag making in Photoshop then came back to PdN. I just make 'em when I have the time. I've been told I'm the best on this board by several users, but that's just a matter of opinion I guess.. and I'm not even very good. Doc meant the style is simular. Like if someone saw the tag they would be all like "Can I have the .psd?"

Try to keep your focal clean, meaning erase most effects over render until it is blended but not over contrasted or anything.

If you would blend the fx over the render so it doesn't look like the render is just pasted on, then is would be a great one for a tut: I would say to just try working on your text. I see some very good tags but the text is either too distracting or kills the flow, etc. In the sig I have above, try moving the text closer to the focal so that the viewer doesn't have to drift their eyes too far from the focal. http://senthrax.deviantart.com/art/Full ... l-55042010 Even though that's for photoshop users, it helped me a lot. It goes over many tips to improve a tag and described where to start when you want to make a new sig. Alright hoped that help. I see you being in the top 5 tag makers on this board, imo. Your smudging is great, you have a good view on depth. If you improve your blending of the focal and blending of your text, then your work would be even better.

Oma, you should turn that picture of you in the mountains into a Digital Painting. That'd be really cool. I love your work.

Needs more depth and work on the blending of the render, it seems rather flat. Also, work on the text.. setting it to overlay never looks good on any tag, work with lighting too.

Try using + :AlphaChannel: on the tips of the lines to make it more realistic.

Lets see why this is bad because none of us know why this is bad so I'm posting this to see how bad it looks because I am curious. Don't mind my grammar, it's meant to be this bad. I am just curious to how bad this looks, I will never do it again. I've never used right justification very much so I wanna learn how it looks, but Dan said not to use it so I'm typing this nonsense so everyone can see why he says not to use it. This will be the last post ever made with a long paragraph of right justification. :oops: Your right, that does look.. bad.

Next time, don't shout. It's breaking the rules. But for your feather problem, I don't know what's wrong. Maybe, the file got corrupted? Other then that I have no feedback, sorry. I know there are plenty of users who know much more then me, so just give it time and they will reply.
