  1. Typo. I believe it should be "bad flow can be fixed by rotating." Thanks! I didn't even catch that. Thanks for the comments. If you have any suggestions please PM me. =]
  2. Just look at your tool window. And look for.. then select that at the top. Now you will need to select :AlphaChannel:
  3. 1. This is a guide, not a straight regular tutorial. When have you ever opened up.. say.. Pottery for dummies. And they tell you how to make a vase or a pot exactly. It might just be me, but a guide is meant to explain elements and tips. Not how to reproduce something exactly. Look at any photoshop sig guide on Deviantart. Do you see them explaining their settings most of the time? No. They show techniques on how they made the fx in their sig. Not how to reproduce it. They don't even show what stock they used. 2. The reason you think this is vague is because it is not how to create something, it's how to create something better. When I started this guide, I wanted to simply.. start a guide. Not a tut. A tutorial is too.. it's too much of a "Follow every step or you will mess up". On any other site involving gfx, if you make a sig/LP following a tutorial's every steps, this is called ripping. But on this site, it is not. Just say.. you followed a random sig tutorial here. Then you reproduced the same image, just slapped your name on it. This is 100% the definition of ripping. All you did is follow steps but didn't tweak them or anything. In this guide I (and yipp) try to help the viewer learn how to look at their sig and make it better. I'm not telling you to "Do this.. now this.. now this..." I'm explaining fx and definitions to improve your skill.
  4. My avatar? All it is, is several layers of shape 3d at different scales. I'll PM you a little mini tut.
  5. I like watch. Oh btw you need to blur the white glare part on your avatar. Like by 2 px gaussian blur.
  6. Yeah I have been loads of businezz. I'll PM you the idea and you can write it or not yipp. Up to you.
  7. Welcome to the forums! Before I help you out I feel you should read up on The Rules. Just a good thing to do before continuing your stay. Now about your question. Make a new layer [ :AddNewLayer: ] and then paste [CTRL + V] in your first picture. Now make another layer [ :AddNewLayer: ] and then paste [CTRL + V] in your other picture onto this layer. Now you will want to take the rectangle selection tool [ ] to select half of the top layer. Now delete which ever side you want the other picture to be on. I hope this was easy to understand. We hope you enjoy your stay here.
  8. sdkjoker. Welcome to the forums. First off I would like to say you need to read up on the Forum Rules before posting anymore. You have broken rule #3: And I would also like to help you out with the checkerboard you want to make. Simply just download MadJik's Plugin Pack and you will get a Grid Maker with it. This is what you want. Again, welcome to the community.
  9. Probably because it doesn't tell how to use features in the program it's how to make something. All the sticky'd tutorials are like Levels, RGB, Fonts, Beginners guide. Let's not irritate the mods with that, noodlez.
  10. Glad you liked it Plurb.. And I added and credited your part Yipp.
  11. New sig. Photoshop for some fx and a lot of pdn coloring/blending
  12. Please try to respect topic opener's wishes. Thanks. Ash, thanks for informing them. Now I look at it, they need to comment each others work. I mean, it is a community guide. I trashed that rule. Feel free to comment everybody.
  13. Tricia Helfer is a very pretty woman when she's not.. maniped. /off topic
  14. Dont blur/glow the white layer as much might work on giving more color.
  15. PM me? But really.. I really want to make something like that.
  16. Your new avatar is epically amazing. I am in love with it. *scrambles to try a glass avatar sort of thing*
