Lower the opacity of the blue brushes on the second and it will look good.

I think the blue is too blue. But I like the brushing, maybe give it a little more flow? Someone let me know about this: It's not done. Just might as well post it.. it was made for the Ultimate Guide. No where near done.

Yes, exactly. On your text comment, it's just a matter of opinion. But rotated text flows it more because you read up toward the focal.

Well I'm writing brush blending and C4D flow parts now.

Once again, I used a few stocks: Eagle Zeus Lightning Sky I don't like this one as much as the Poseidon one. I had to. I really like the concept.. and the text is basic yet good. flow is.. eh. and depth is good.

Make the background a black to white gradient. It will look better than yellow. I despise the color yellow.
