[imgflt=right]http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c114/the_numbers/visualglitch.png[/imgflt]Small visual glitch. Sometimes when you click the arrow bar to navigate to the top or bottom of an effects list, it appears as if it is being highlighted when in reality you are just highlighting the next plugin in the list (see example at right). In the example provided, it seems as if I am clearly high lighting the arrow, yet in reality I am highlighting BoltBait's Transparency. Just causes some confusion at times

Oohhh! Thank you BarkBark00, I could have sworn this post was about creating channels for adjusting in Curves :? I just used this feature in PS, and it seems pretty useful -
Curves/Curves+ eye-dropper enhancement?
Mike Ryan replied to StephanP's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
You cant create color channels though. An example of this would be the CMYK mode in Curves+, it doesnt work nearly as functional as the average RGB mode. -
Curves/Curves+ eye-dropper enhancement?
Mike Ryan replied to StephanP's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Curves is used to map color channels across an image, not a particular color  -
If you want it to look like a real pencil sketch, then you are going to have to quite literally use a pencil and trace it

I NEED A SIG MADE **NEEDS A MAKER**
Mike Ryan replied to snarlmeef's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Hello, snarlmeef! Welcome to the forums. I recommend reading the rules before posting again, as you have already broken two with your first post. TYPING IN ALL CAPS is strictly prohibited, and this is not a place to find artists either for volunteer or money. I gurantee if you stick around and follow the rules, you will be able to create a great sig yourself in no time  -

Wow! A whole thread chock full of some of the worst minimoderation around! Barkbark gave the proper suggestion and Sabrown tried to help out, Reese50. There is a line between trying to help out users and being a 'goody-goody'. As well, this thread is quickly spinning into the hands of the . Moderators are not chosen because they know the rules up and down, but because they understand the program up and down and have the knowledge to aid users. Barkbark's reply (other than his Simon joke) is a great example of quality help. If Deathmetalmario requires no more assistance, then I request this thread be locked. -
Paint.NET v3.35 BETA is now available
Mike Ryan replied to Rick Brewster's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Alright, I have gotten a few PMs regarding what exactly Intersection mode is. So I am just going to turn to a video I made a few days ago that will hopefully make it a bit more clear as to what it does... http://mikesbrush.zxq.net/intersection.htm -

Intersect is the overlapping of two layers. So, create a new selection, turn your selection mode to 'Intersect', and then overlap the intersecting selection over the previous selection  -
Donate ... for free ... TrialPay (no joke!)
Mike Ryan replied to Rick Brewster's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
For everybody really interested in using this, I recommend using a spam email account (an account in which you use to sign up for offers) that way PdN gets a free donation and you dont have to mess with those silly offers -
Yes, it is something you are doing wrong In the second text feild, notice how you placed a '.GIF' at the end of your folder name. Your folder name does not have a filetype, so just remove that extra tid bit and you should be just fine.

Five Four people in a row that need to use SearchPaint.NET  I suggested this a long time ago, and the answer is that this would require some underground plumbing of the rendering engine of Paint.NET. This is suppose to be a planned feature for the v4.xx time frame.

Pfft... 40 layers is nothing. My previous MSC entry was about 200 layers (that is why I dropped it)

Layer Visibility: Please no more Assuming
Mike Ryan replied to Mike Ryan's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
I dont think it isnt so much as that as it is for Paint.NET to be productive. Turning the visibility of a layer turning off, then waiting for that two second delay for Paint.NET to switch layers, and then having to reselect your layer is about three to four seconds of time that could have been used
