1. I don't think the installer is working for me....It's been like this for about 10 minutes now.
2. Read the "Popular Feature Requests" thread in the Announcments. It isn't really needed, and it can be done using effects, meaning no need for an entire tool for them.
3. I'm suprised you can use Paint Shop Pro, it's horrible. The reason the school got it according to my teachers is that it's cheap. Cheap idiots. Anyways, what does it do?
4. You don't. You need to enter a few lines of CSS into your style sheet like this to get a background on any page which uses that style sheet: body { background: #656565 url(background.png) repeat-y center; color: #D5D2D6; } And then you have a background.
5. This is a forum of Paint.NET, not a web design forum. Learn HTML and CSS and do it yourself. Seriously, you expect it's that simple to create a website. It isn't.
6. Say....voting stops at 12:00 English Time on December the 24th OK, but that's lunchtime, not midnight. 24:00 better?
7. Do you want me to count that as a vote? Say....voting stops at 12:00 English Time on December the 24th
8. You need to have the cat on a transparent layer, not just on the same layer as the background image.
9. Well, I've had a little idea of how you could do it. 1. Get your image. Make sure the "background" of the image is transparent. 2. Duplicate that layer. 3. Blurs > Zoom Blur on the bottom layer. Do something with the center near the bottom, with a low distance value. 4. Duplicate this layer, then Ctrl+F. 5. Repeat until happy. 6. Merge down all the blur layers. 7. Use sharpen or some other blur to create the lines effect you wanted. 8. Flatten, and your done.
10. This isn't exactly something nessesscary, it takes a miminal amount of time to change the canvas size (I mean, File > New when you open PDN isn't that hard) and it dosen't take long to select the entire canvas and delete it (Ctrl+A and Del). It isn't something we really need, and besides, at least the default canvas size in PDN is something reasonable, unlike in PS or the GIMP when it's a tad more complicated.
11. I have done the impossible. I've used Clouds and Polar Inversion to create something good. Staring Into The Eyes Have a look, and tell me what you think it looks like! And Bugster, why did you bother?
12. The server his website is on is probably down at the moment. Be patient.
13. Polar Inversion has been suggested many times before, and I have been a real advocate of this as I believe the effect is much maligned. Therefore, I'd like to see what the cream of the PDN users crop can really do with this effect - so my decision is the SOTW #13 will be 'Polar Inversion'. And, the timing is excellent as Ed Harvey has just released his v3.20 Effects Pack and this includes 'Polar Inversion Plus'. Let's get it on! -CJ I will say one thing, the new Polar Inversion is beautiful. Because the object of the inversion is now controllable as where the center is, it means we can use that to our advantage, and to be honest, I used it in this. I've compared them, and I really like PP+ a ton better. Mabye now people could get something more original done using Clouds and that....
14. Hmm....I'm not that sure.....It looks simple really. And I'm quoting this because I was at the bottom of the page
15. Dark Beauty Read the dA Author's Comments. I'm tired at the moment, so I'm keeping this short.
16. Eh.....Who told you that Paint.NET had a airbrush feature?
17. Polar Inversion. That's what I suggest. And also, I lost again
18. First of all, I don't care about post count, and they shouldn't be shown in your profile. Secondly, not all users sign up to a forum to get a launguage pack, seeing how the link is mirrored on a seperate website, independant to Paint.NET. Thirdly, troll's go around, swear, break rules, and generally annoy every single other person. As far as I'm concerned, he's done none of that, and he's been good to the community with plugin's, like you have with this translation. Fourthly, "argument lacking subtance". I'm quite used to arguing with people, and if I can recognise an argument which isn't worth it's weight in gold, I will say something about it. I wouldn't say that either of your arguments are lacking substance, which means I'd much prefer to have this argument on a good old PM. Fifthly, you sounded sligtly mature until you went to say "T®oli". To be honest, I wouldn't expect that from a 10 year old. You are now in my opinion quite immature, especially when your argument is centered on saying he is a troll. If anyone is a troll in this, it's this stupid argument, and that's why I'm irratated, because a quite peaceful forum has turned into an argumentitive one. Something I don't like.
19. Troli? Very sensible. Seeing as web translators aren't helping here, anyone care to explain? I can understand half of this, mainly that you two are "argumente". I will also say I'm starting to quite irratated.
20. TC? Tendercrisp? GB? :ColdOne:? BTW everyone, scroll down to the bottom of the page. Yes, that's a black bar which dosen't fit with the theme.
