  1. usedHONDA had this problem installing Paint.NET when he had the XP Service Pack 3 RC (more like beta though), so just revert back to SP2, and everything will work again. That should fix it.
  2. Please read the rules. Especially the one saying "No advertising for artists"
  3. All pictures have a thing called a "vanashing point". Every single line originally comes from that point. Basically, to get it right, the plugin has to find the original vanishing point my finding all the straight lines and matching them up to find where they orginally come from, something which would need a ton of simulatenous equations for. Then the plugin has to change every single pixel and line so it's in another perspective, though when you change perspective, you see a different picture with new bits on and old bits chopped off. it's a mathematical nightmare to try and figure out, at least if you want it done correctly.
  4. You know there is perspective in EVERY picture, right? Anyways, doing something like this would be extremely hard to get done.
  5. This isn't a Paint.NET question. Read the rules and forum descriptions please.
  6. What stops someone opening their otherway created image in Paint.NET and saving it as a PDN file? It's not just that you have a *.pdn, but rather the file contents that will go a long way toward proving that the image was created in Paint.NET(e.g., layers intact, blending modes used...). This is all assuming that the member's "Made in Paint.NET" assertion is questioned. There can be a tad problem asking for PDN's for some images though, say one of mine has, lets see....50 odd layers between 2 PDN files. Although that was an exceptetion. Anyways, I like that idea. If it's just one layer, well.....It probably isn't deserving of being in there in the first place anyways
  7. I think the image is corrupted in some way. Sorry, but the only way you can fix this is by re-taking the picture.
  8. I think there should a restriction on the amount of threads a person can post there, everywhere bar the discussion thread, though, just so people don't spam a lot. Anyways, I like the idea.
  9. The thing you have to do is get all the program files back, place them in the right place, then un-install. Then you can re-install. The only down-side is that it will be quite hard to get the program files for it, unless Rick can send them to you.
  10. The fact that Paint.NET is deleted means that it dosen't exist, the reason you can't un-install it is because there is nothing to un-install.
  11. No, mainly for two reasons. 1. PDN is not Photoshop. 2. The Effects API between the two are so different it would be impossible to do. Also, this should be in the General Discussion/Questions forum.
  12. Please, you've already asked this question bar with different wording in another thread, there is no point in making another one. Secondly, there is NO point in trying to put this project into the Paint.NET source code unless your trying to build it for your own needs, which is pointless as you can just put the .dll in the Effects folder, and if you want to use Paint.NET over a shared network, just change the default installation route when installing to a shared folder/server. Finally, this has nothing to do with the Effect API, so it's in the wrong place.
  13. What do you mean by "reset"? And by the looks of it, you may not have the access to install it.
  14. Go into your Paint.NET directory files and click on "PDNRepair" That could solve your problem.
  15. I there's too many good sigs for us to vote on 1, mabye two? And the top 2/3 are winners, because of the amount of entries?
  16. What are you going on about? Please be more concise so we are able to help you.
  17. Why would you want WordArt? it makes the best images in the world look extremely bad. Say you put some yellowish-bold Arial Black on the Mona Lisa, it would have been burnt the second someone saw it. I disagree. I get sick of seeing posters using Word"Art" enough.
  18. How often do you do that? Adding on to that, why are you re-installing Windows?
  19. Plugin's are their to help create art, not to help mimic art. The world's best plugin which is used for art can not match up to artistic skill.
  20. Could you show us what the message is when that screen pops up? I don't mean the error message, I mean the box below that with all the exception details.
  21. Did you change the default path after installation, or when you first installed Paint.NET? If so, the only thing you can really do is remove Paint.NET and re-install it correctly. Changing the directory after installation causes lots of trouble.
  22. There was a feature called "Editor"? :?
  23. R3VENGE, please read the forum rule saying that the amount of images in your sig must not be larger than 500px. Your sig has two images which when combined have a height larger than 500px.
  24. Oh... This means the Device doesn't have enough place any more... I've allready seen the Thread with the popular requests Which rule should I've broken? What do you mean by "device"? And, the only thing was the tad over-use of exclamtion marks. That's it really. Nothing to worry about.
