That's because your doing something like see dvd's on VHS readers... You have to upgrade, even for the sake of your pc security, I'm not talking about Firefox 3 Beta 2, just one of the other stable ones

Set adjustmenst>black and white the for transparency, go to layer properties in the layers window and chose your transparency
