  7. I too had never tried this before. Many thanks @ReMake for all your work reviving these oldies
  8. Hello @Viral Godhani and Welcome to Paint.net If you click off the History and Layers windows and exit PDN, the windows should stay off next time you open Paint.net. You can disable Animations and Hardware Acceleration, via the Settings, which can be found by clicking on the cog wheel upper right hand side of the canvas.
  9. Many thanks @null54 it's working fine now
  10. A real cute image @lynxster4 and the outlines are perfect. I must take a look at that Plugin you mentioned
  11. I concur @nitenurse79 it's happening to me too. I'm not sure, but think the anti virus is stopping it. I will be interested to know what others suggest
  12. Object of the Fortnight #35 – "A Single Whole Bon Bon Candy" (chosen by @lynxster4) Examples can be seen here. The deadline for entries is 2.00 PM EST (7:00 PM UK Time) on Saturday 23rd February, 2019. Please see the Countdown Timer for exact time remaining. You may link to alternative versions, but they will not be part of your entry. This thread is for posting competition entries only. If you're not posting an entry, please don't post here. If you want to talk about any of the entries, or ask a question regarding the competition, you can do so in the discussion thread found here. Competition Rules: 1. Your entry must not have a background/backdrop/scene; just the object on a transparent canvas. Shadows and reflections are fine. 2. Your entry must be 100% made using Paint.net. Don't use another image editor. Don't use stock images/photos/textures (in full or parts thereof.) 3. Max dimensions are 600x600. 4. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline. 5. Three entries per entrant are allowed. Please make a separate post for each one. New rule: 6. Upon a tie when winning, the person who hasn’t picked for the longest gets to choose the next theme. Many thanks to @toe_head2001 and @DrewDale for launching and hosting the competitions in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics.

  21. Ha - ha I just realized I am an object of discussion 🤣 Thank you so much @Ego Eram Reputo @mottoman @Woodsy @Maximilian @doughty @welshblue @MJW @Seerose for all of your best wishes Surgery went well, I'm home and feeling great. May have to have some chemo, but not long term. My surgeon is positive he's got it all this time Now back to my work on here 😁 which is a wonderful thing to have and I enjoy it so much
  22. Hi @Jan Oonk and Welcome 1. You could make templates of the sizes you want. i.e. make a 200 x 200 square, say in white, and save it as a .png 2. When you need it, upload it into PDN, whilst still selected uncheck the white square and switch back to your image. 3. With the Move Selected tool you can then line it up to wherever you need it. There may be other ways too.
  23. Don't forget everyone, Saturday is the last day for your entries to the Aquarium Fish OotF. I will be asking @lynxster4 - if the need arises - to do the Poll on Saturday, as I have to have more surgery tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be up to it though
