  1. Hello @musava_ribica and Welcome to the forum You must have you clean image on its own transparent layer. Like this: ~ click for larger ~
  2. Hello @GeekDad and Welcome to the forum Sorry, I'm a little confused at your question, as the Line/Curve tool is different from the Pencil tool
  3. Hello @FurryEskimo and Welcome to the forum There is a neat tool online that may be of help to you https://www.remove.bg/
  4. Neat @Ego Eram Reputo I'd never noticed #5 before. Many thanks
  5. Hello @Hackeroni and Welcome to the forum Please try to play with the settings of this plugin, like this:
  6. @welshblue Thank you so much. That's very high praise indeed and I'm feeling chuffed by it Many thanks to @Red ochre and @LionsDragon for the Rep points 😍
  7. I hope you will be able to get that eye seen to really soon ✔️ Yes, I had my procedure done and today just got back test results, which were positive for cancer cells again. They don't want t do more surgery just yet so they are going to try me on a newish drug called TECENTRIQ, as I can't have BCG again, so I'm hoping this drug, given via a vein, three sessions at 3 week intervals, will do the trick without any side effects this time 😱. Other than that, all is well in lock-down 🤞
  8. I followed @CK1's steps and can see why he thinks it's a bug. I didn't realize that he had two windows open. Surely the text in black on the left side, shouldn't change to red?
  9. Hello @CK1 and Welcome to the forum You have to put the text on a new layer. Do not try to overwrite the text on the white background layer. Always use a new, transparent layer. Then when you are happy with the result you can flatten.
  10. Object of the Fortnight #56 - An Ink Pen. Examples. Special thanks to @toe_head2001 and @Ego Eram Reputo for being the theme generators. The deadline for entries is 2.00 PM EST (7 PM UK Time) on Saturday 2nd May, 2020. Please see the Countdown Timer for exact time remaining. This thread is for posting competition entries only. If you're not posting an entry, please don't post here. If you want to talk about any of the entries, or ask a question regarding the competition, you can do so in the discussion thread found here. Competition Rules: 1. Your entry must not have a background/backdrop/scene; just the object on a transparent canvas. Shadows and reflections are fine. 2. Your entry must be 100% made using Paint.net. Don't use another image editor. Don't use stock images/photos/textures (in full or parts thereof.) 3. Max dimensions are 600 x 600. 4. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline. 5. Three entries per entrant are allowed. Please make a separate post for each one. Many thanks to @toe_head2001 and @DrewDale for launching and hosting the competitions in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics here.
  11. Thank you @Vagabondi and @lynxster4 for your very nice words. Glad you like the result. I was thinking of @barbieq25 and @PeterPawn when making it, as they made such ornate jewelry things back in the day Thank you @Icegodes for the Rep point
  12. The settings are in the first shot I posted and the Plugin is called Shape3D https://forums.getpaint.net/topic/116250-shape-fix/?do=findComment&comment=570153
  13. And the Winners are: 1st Place goes to @welshblue with 9 votes 2nd Place goes to @Pixey and @MJW with 7 votes 3rd Place goes to @welshblue with 6 votes Congratulations everyone. Such delicious entries from all of you @welshblue's Oreo cookie was so realistic, as was @MJW's chocolate chip cookie. Those chocolate chips looked like the real deal
  14. @Vagabondi Thank you so much I had a hankering for something different ..... I'm working on a portrait at the moment, which is taking so long, that I needed a little break from it - so a jewel it is! The Mystery
  15. Oh YES ✔️ - such beautiful images one again @Vagabondi I love how you put things together. Those bunnies are darling The PDN images are fabulous 😍
  16. Hello @eeeeeeeeeee And Welcome to the forum I moved your question to the correct place, as it is not really a bug. So, if you overwrote an existing PDN file with a new name, and saved it - without flattening - you should have all your layers still there. But if you had two windows open at the same time, saved one and forgot to save the other, then it will be gone
  17. Unless I'm not understanding you, you can't change that shape into a rectangle unless you lose some of it.
  18. Hello @K4NFP and Welcome to the forum You would have your cream plate on a layer, then upload a rusty texture to a new layer, or make your own from a tutorial here and change that layer's Mode until you see the 'look' you want.
  19. I just ran your text though the Crash Log scanner and it did indeed say that you have a problem with a Plugin. However, I am using Paint.net version 4.2.10 and ThatOtherApp is working fine for me. I suggest you down load it again from the first page and put it into Effects.
