  1. Object of the Fortnight #61 - A USB Drive. Examples can be viewed here. Many thanks to @toe_head2001 and @Ego Eram Reputo for being the theme generators. The deadline for entries is 2.00 PM EST (:00 PM UK Time) on Saturday 15th August 2020. Please see the Countdown Timer for exact time remaining. This thread is for posting competition entries only. If you're not posting an entry, please don't post here. If you want to talk about any of the entries, or ask a question regarding the competition, you can do so in the discussion thread found here. Competition Rules: 1. Your entry must not have a background/backdrop/scene; just the object on a transparent canvas. Shadows and reflections are fine. 2. Your entry must be 100% made using Paint.net. Don't use another image editor. Don't use stock images/photos/textures (in full or parts thereof.) 3. Max dimensions are 600 x 600. 4. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline. 5. Three entries per entrant are allowed. Please make a separate post for each one. Many thanks to @toe_head2001 and @DrewDale for launching and hosting the competitions in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics here.
  2. Congratulations go to: 1st Place is @welshblue with 9 votes 2nd Place are @Seerose @lynxster4 @Pixey @welshblue with 7 votes 3rd Place are @welshblue & @MJW with 5 votes Well done everyone Some fantastic renditions
  3. 1. Are you using the Classic version of Paint.net or the Store bought? (Pipped by @welshblue )
  4. Hello @pdner and Welcome to the forum You could make your own chain, if you want, and here is a tutorial: If you want to curve out of an image, you may want to try the Waves Plugin. Also, but a tad more complicated, you could have a chain image on a transparent layer, running diagonally, and then run the Shape 3D Plugin at default.
  5. This is really neat @MJW thank you.
  6. Bond image is stock, the rest PDN.
  7. Meryl and Robert stock, background my own shot.
  8. I'm so sorry you did not succeed @Seerose
  9. I thought I was the only one who felt like this, more times than I wish to admit 😂 So sorry you missed the dead-line
  10. @ViewStars Welcome to the forum Perhaps your initial try was very lucky. As far as I know, I don't think Paint.net can do what you are asking. PDN does not have the feature called 'focus stacking' like Photoshop , and can't differentiate between the different layers automatically.
  11. The Poll is now open for OotF#60 - A Barrel. It will be open until Saturday 1st August, 2020, until 2 PM EST and 7 PM UK time. Good Luck!
  12. Congratulations @welshblue & @Djisves on your wins. Fabulous entries indeed. So colorful and witty Thanks @lynxster4 for hosting ❤️
  13. Hello @rick15030 and Welcome to the Forum There is this one:
  14. I'm a silly billie 😁 blonde moment And I guess running Repair isn't an option, if the OP is indeed trying to install PDN for the first time
  15. Welcome to the forum @offsynx Please tell us what you are trying to install. Presumably it is Paint.net ? Which version are you trying to get - and is it from this site? Also, try to run Malware PDNRepair on your computer please.
  16. Okay - great. Can you see, in your Effects Flder the SBCommon.dll ?
  17. OMG @BoltBait you are such an inspiration (Don't hold breath for moi trying this out.) 🤣
  18. You do know that the effects are found in the sub-menus?
  19. Do you mean when you look for them whilst Paint.net is open? Or, you can't see them in the Paint.net folder, which is found via: This PC > OS (C:) > Program Files > paint.net > Effects
  20. Thank you for pointing this out @null54 it might be a good idea to warn people in @Simon Brown's thread to avoid using that particular utility.
  21. Where did you download the Plugins from? If not directly from this PDN forum, then this may be why they are not working properly.
  22. I don't know if this is any use to you, but it's worth a look:
