  1. too much to read, but in dents set the quality to 1, and once you finish with all the settings, set it to the higher value. quality settings in dents slows it down. so keep that as your last step.
  2. Thanks for the adjustment, .10 works pretty good. Looks good, here is an image I used it on, with brightness/contrast adjustments after. Does a nice effect. I reduced it a bit. Redownload Fixed.

  4. Yes yours is "wavy" on top, did you use the plugin or edited the codelab?

  7. Rick will not be happy with you saying that. Btw, I work in java all day and it sucks. Java runs very bad on windows. I'd rather be working in php (web stuff). C++ was fun a while back, but if I had my choice I would do C# for applications and php for web stuff, maybe even C# for the web stuff, but php is fun cause its so fast to edit and update.

  9. shift click with the magic wand, it will select all the black. that would be what I would sugggest but getting all those small parts is annoying so maybe if it's like what I've made then new layer clouds normal layer mode additive.

  11. Yes guesses, that is the point, it requires user intervention to fix all the wrong guesses, I'd like to know which program does this so I can see a demo of it. Seeing is believing, otherwise I don't believe everything .

  13. such as? there is nothing that can remove part of an image and magically render the background for you. it all would require user intervention which means something like the clone stamp.

  15. not sure what I can use this for yet. btw you spelled length wrong in the dialog box.
  16. What I did in express edition was to create a new effect in pdn source under PaintDotNet.Effects. Create the dialog for it ... etc. Then when you start the debugger, the dll is built with the core application and can be debugged. When I am done debugging, I copy the render function to my dll solution. And I can make any minor adjustments and compile the dll.
  17. I couldn't stand the rear tire being different, clone stamped it. The street being messed up and the bottom back of the bus, didn't bother me so much but that tire.... ahhhhh!. [/img]
  18. Informative, thanks. Btw, you can use the grid maker plugin to draw the grid for you. For the size you used, setting the horizontal to 256 and the vertical to 192, for drawing position you select centered on surface and check foreground only and use brush width to use your selected brush width. grid plugin -> http://paintdotnet.12.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=4879
