  1. The theme this week is – "Frogs~Toads " Chosen by ( @doughty SOTW #188 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to look like ‘Frogs~Toads’. All PDN is preferred...no images. In other words...make your own! Examples can be viewed here. The deadline for entries is 6:00 pm (UK time) 2:00 pm (DST) on Saturday, Aug 11th, 2018. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature. Please keep your signature family-friendly. Please keep to the theme that has been set. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. There are three entries per entrant allowed. Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.
  2. Both look great @Seerose I don't think you can mess up art! ?

  4. I submitted an entry for OOTF#26 (Hourglass), but I thought it was very difficult. Did the best I could...didn't want to spend too much time on it. It is what it is.
  5. Very interesting technique to get this effect, @Pixey I may have used too many 'diamonds', but it still looks okay. No two crumpled papers will ever be the same! I like it! Thank you! ?
  6. Excellent work @Seerose As Pixey says^^; they are 'eye-popping'! ?
  7. Very interesting tutorial @Pixey Will have to try.
  8. Very imaginative @Sakana Oji Great job! ?
  9. The Poll is now open for 'Butterflies'. It will be closed on Saturday, July 28th, 2018 - 2 pm DST and 6 pm UK time. World Clock. Thank you, everyone, for your beautiful entries. May the best win!
  10. Glad you're back @welshblue Take it slow and get well soon! ?
  11. Well, that's in Rick's purview. We have no control over how PDN is structured. Have fun with the shapes! ☺️
  12. Now I know what you're talking about. I thought you were having a problem with the installer or the zip file. You're talking about Paint.Net itself, once the shapes are installed or copied over. No, the shapes window cannot be resized. It will show all the shapes. If you need it smaller, you'll have to unload some shapes. I make another folder under 'paint.net' called 'unused shapes' and dump what I don't need in there. But, they're always handy when I do need them.
  13. Hi @mackenzieh Well, both downloads are zip files. If you are referring to the installer version, the window size is hard-set and you can't change it. If your talking about the regular zip file, set the 'view' to 'List' so you can see more. Do you have your computer set to enlarge things? (like 125% or 150%) I just tried both files and they are working fine for me. Let me know...?
  14. Thank you @LionsDragon for the rep! Hope you enjoy the new shapes. ?
  15. Your comment is much appreciated @lifeday! The shape you used is not mine, however....it was made by Lydia. (see her shapes thread) I'm glad you're enjoying the shapes, though! Thank you to @Eli, @xod, @Djisves and @toe_head2001 for the reps!
  16. Thank you @Pixey! I think I'm up to 387 shapes in the package. Lots and lots of work, but I enjoy it! I'm partial to the eagle myself...
  17. Added 65 new shapes; 14 more stained glass and a new genre...tribal shapes! Here are some preview pics of the new shapes: All tribal shapes are from TribalShapes.com Please see the first post for a more detailed look at all the included shapes. Please enjoy! ☺️
  18. Hi @Spaghetti Oats and welcome to the forum. You can't use Crystalize on a blank canvas, white or transparent. You need to have an actual image of something open first in order for it to work. Beaten by Boltbait! ?
  19. Mmmm @Pixey .....looks like your Saturdays are 'FULL'.
  20. Wow! This will come in handy. Tired of downloading calendars from the internet. Now, I can just make my own and customize it any way I want! Thank you @BoltBait
  21. Thank you for the video @xod ? I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't know what the 'Cook-Torrance' tab did in Shape 3D...now I know. A super-simple way to achieve the same result! Mine turned out exactly like yours.
