  1. Thank you @Woodsy for the rep! Hope to see more of you on here and I hope you're feeling better.
  2. Would this be helpful? You could 'smudge' the sand around her feet.
  3. Thanks, MJW for restoring those images. ? I'll have to try that. Thanks, LD!
  4. Hi @CandimationsOnYT and welcome to the forum! ? Expand the menu in the upper right-hand corner by your username after you sign in. In the drop-down menu, select 'Profile'. In the lower left-hand corner of your generic avatar (on the left-hand side) is a small gray square with an image icon. Click on that and upload or drag-n-drop the image you wish to use. Hope these instructions are clear enough for you without posting images.
  5. Yeah, I felt really stupid after I realized I spent all weekend trying to figure it out using the cropped image! ? No wonder toey didn't reply to my question....he was waiting for me to figure it out myself... I seem to be on a 'sewing' spree and loving it. It's a welcome break from my stained glass!
  6. Okay @toe_head2001 , I was having a senior moment. I was trying to figure it out using the example tartan pattern you uploaded in Post #1. I then realized you cropped the image. (you even stated that you did...duh!) Once I replicated the pattern using your xml file, I was able to see exactly how this works. TIP: Don't get old. ? Now I should be able to replicate other patterns easily...
  7. @xod that is so sweet! ? Love the new changes!
  8. @Seerose your entry looks okay. I've found a few examples of triangles being used for this style.
  9. Yes, it has, but it's been over five years since. I looked at the entries from back then and most did the white, red and blue blocks. The style can be expanded and I was hoping for some more 'original' pieces. Reference @Pixey 's entry. I think it's great and very original, but still conforms to the style. ?
  10. @toe_head2001 Works great now. I have a question. I was trying to replicate a pattern I saw on the internet. This is much harder than I thought. Referring to your example xml for the wvu-tartan, why is the order of the lines so important? I see if I change the order of one line, it completely changes the pattern. Can you explain how the plugin goes about placing the lines? Thanks!
  11. The theme this week is – "Piet Mondrian Style " Chosen by ( @welshblue SOTW #191 winner) This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to look like ‘Piet Mondrian Style ’. Examples can be viewed here. **Some additional plugins can be used to enhance your image** The deadline for entries is 7:00 pm (UK time) 2:00 pm (DST) on Saturday, Oct 13th, 2018. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules Max dimensions are 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your regular signature. Please keep your signature family-friendly. Please keep to the theme that has been set. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. Your entry must be made using Paint.net; please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. There are three entries per entrant allowed. Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature. Your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery. Signatures may be either horizontal or vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.
  12. Hi @toe_head2001 I'm running into a little problem when using 'Tartan'. I'm at 125% dpi and it's cutting off some things in the UI. The checkbox for 'Use Horizontal set for Vertical' is completely covered up, as you can see above, and the UI doesn't expand. Can this be fixed? Thank you!
  13. Congratulations to the winners! 1st Place: is @welshblue with 7 votes 2nd Place: is @GillFelis @Seerose with 6 votes each 3rd Place: is @Pixey(twice) @Maximilian @sashwilko @doughty and @mottoman with 5 votes each Great entries from everyone!

  15. Very elegant 'Donate' button @Swirly ? Nice job!
  16. Now, I really, really like that @Seerose! ? Fantastic coloring! ?
  17. Excellent @Seerose! Great job. I did not even go into the 'Renders' menu. My main concern was ways to distort the knit fabric. I'll leave that up to you guys! ?
  18. Very nice @dipstick ? I like the way you did your coloring.
  19. Just added some stitches for you all to try and a quick 'felt' fabric tut. I'm done...now everyone can happily 'knit and stitch'! ?
  20. Congrats to all the winners! Lovely entries one and all! ?
