  1. @ Limon....n-i-c-e. Walk softly and wear...workboots!
  2. Congrats, Pixey! Like that sig...hehehe And all who placed...
  3. Thank you, Red. I don't know where all this coming from, but I hope it keeps up! @Nai....thank you! @toe_head...thank you!
  4. NEW SHAPES PACK!! 'Stained Glass' Hi fellow PDN users! This is a follow-up shape pack to support my stained glass endeavours. These were designed to be used in 'outline' mode only, though most will work in the other 2 modes. Use for practicing your stained glass effects or just color them as you see fit! A lot of these designs are taken from 'suncatchers' I actually have hanging in my windows! The pack is available in post #1. Thanks! And keep on creating!
  5. Thank you, Seerose. Yes, I am aware of Ella's tutorial. Slightly different than mine, but nonetheless good! I rep'd you on page 20 of your gallery. Beautiful work!
  6. Yes Seerose, that's all you can do....SAVE often (like after every step)!! That's what I'm doing. These stained glass pics are very complicated with many layers. Maybe we are over-taxing PDN?
  7. (I read the referenced thread). Mmmmmmm......why both of ours are crashing, I don't really know. We are both using V4.09. I suspect it was the size of the pdn file. When making the 'lily stained glass', you have about 32 layers. And I'm a 'power user'.....click, click, click.....(maybe I need to s-l-o-w down).
  8. Pixie, that rose is just lovely! Again, really nice color combinations! I'm glad you are enjoying this tutorial! I'm out of reps....I'll catch you when I'm re-stocked! Done!
  9. That is good Seerose; more RAM can never hurt. But try the tutorial with the simplified steps! My PDN crashed also, for the same reason (insuffient memory), and I have 16 GBs of RAM installed!
  10. @MJW....I will try this when I get some time. Unfortunately 'work' is getting in the way!
  11. Hi Seerose! I took the liberty of downloading your crash report and also saw the "System.OutOfMemoryException: Insufficient memory to continue the execution of the program". When I was making my initial creation for the tutorial, my PDN also crashed; like 5 times! I don't know much about what would make it crash, but it could have something to do with the number of steps involved (and I execute them fast). I simplified the tutorial and cut down on a lot of steps....maybe this will help?? Thanks, Lynxster4
  12. Pixey, that is just fabulous! Love your color combinations! Bravo!! Right back atcha'
  13. @MJW....I am forever grateful that you stopped by and suggested your plugin. Works beautifully! I'm editing this tutorial pronto! Thanks, again! (Your plugin will always be in the back of my mind now)
  14. @david.atwell.....I am honored that you pinned this! Thank you so much...it means a lot to me. or (My first pin!)
  15. @MJW...thank you for the suggestion! I'm going to try it. I have close to 400 files in my effects folder and sometimes you forget everything you have available to you. (You get tunnel-vision.) I'll let you know if this solves the 'gap' problem because it would eliminate a lot of steps! @TR....thanks bunches! I really appreciate that comment!
  16. I've been known to pull all-nighters! Haha! Your welcome! Looking forward to seeing your result, Max.......
