  1. Wow! We have the same eye color .
  2. The 'eye' is just perfect for Halloween. The texture looks just like the inside of a pumpkin .
  3. The theme this week is – "Thermal" which has been chosen by – Pixey (SOTW #162 winner). This week you're challenged to design and create a signature to look 'Thermal' Some examples are here. The deadline for entries is 7:00pm (UK time) 2pm EST on Sunday 26th of February 2017. To see how that equates to other countries, here is a link to the World Time Competition Rules 1. Max sig dimensions 500 x 200. Please NOTE: The forum limits signatures to 500 x 150, if it is too large do not try to use it as your sig. 2. Please keep your sig family friendly. 3. Keep to the theme that has been set. 4. You may modify or replace your image until the deadline! 5. Don’t violate copyright laws with found images; links to source images would be courteous. 6. Your entry must be made using paint.net, please don't use an outside image editor and try passing it off as PDN work. 7. There are multiple entries per entrant allowed. 8 . Don’t add links to larger versions of your signature, your entry should be voted on based on the size laid out in rule #1. Please keep larger versions of your work for your gallery 9. Signatures may be either Horizontal or Vertical. The winner of the current SOTW gets to choose the subject for the next competition. Good luck all and thank you in advance for entering. Thanks to - chrisco97, Sozo, TheHowler, Nitenurse79, Chimay, DrewDale & Pixey for keeping this comp going in the past. Previous comps have included the following topics as listed Here compiled by MJW. This list will, perhaps assist future winners with a theme. This thread is for posting your entries only. If you want to talk about any of the entries, you can do so in the discussion thread found here.
  4. And the winners are: First place with 12 votes is: @Pixey Second place with 11 votes is: @lynxster4 Third place with 10 votes is: @dipstick It was a very close competition - congratulations to the winners . Thank you to everyone who entered with a wonderful array of images . Thank you to all who voted
  5. You are on a roll ........... great new additions. You have grasped the old good old Shape 3D - which I too like a lot
  6. Wow! This really POPS off the page . I recognize Texture Merger/Shader in this wonderful rendition - it's really fabulous .
  7. Thank you @LionsDragon . The glow is made as thus: Make a layer between the background layer and the ball. Use the Ellipse Select to make a circle and add the color via paint bucket. Then use Motion Blur and use the angle to line it up. Then do another layer and add a smaller spot and Gaussian blur this time. On both layers lower the opacity and sometimes you can also play with the Blending Modes too. @AndrewDavid many thanks for dropping by to comment . You are doing just fine with your images. I would have to say, though, that Texture Merger is a challenge to use and I am still learning how to use it myself . Dear @Woodsy thank you very much . You know me so well ........ I play, play and play and then play some more @lynxster4 thankies a whole bunch . I have a feeling you and I would have a 'lotta larfs' if we got together. Yup - that old Texture Merger is much fun, but sure a challenge!
  8. Having a play around with @MJW's Texture Merger ..............
  9. Ohhhh - that is absolutely perfect for the occasion - it's so well done. I am certain it will be much appreciated and even more special that it came from your heart in PDN. Have a great day at the confirmation
  10. Awesome results @Seerose - they are so colorful and I the texture on the 3rd one .
  11. This is a great Plugin @BoltBait and thank you . Perfect for getting a very subtle change in color on photos and will have many other uses as well. Before After
  12. I heard this on the car radio today ................. brings back so many memories .
  13. Erm - an oil painting? Not really possible in this software, but you could do a few Texture Tutorials on this forum and then reshape the results to look like that picture. One is here and another here.
  14. Many thanks to @Max for his steps which then made everything clear. Happy to say I now know how to use it .
