Gallade
How do I make animals and other stuff glow like this in Paint.net? Quote Gengar~
MikeRobe
Hmm, looks like more than one effect there. But if it's just the glow you're after, try Effects > Photo > Glow, and play around with the settings for your desired outcome. Quote I baked another one... Ego Eram Reputo
That's a PhotoShop plugin called Fractalius. Impressive isn't it? There are a few techniques that mimic this effect in paint.net: 1. This plugin psfilterpdn allows PS plugins to be used in paint.net. You should note that Fractalius is not free and requires you to buy a copy. 2. This tutorial by @yellowman is quite a similar effect: http://pdnfans.freeforums.org/post7726.html#p7726 3. Furblur plugin: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/27058-furblur-update-21st-sept-2013/ 4. Cobweb plugin: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/27296-cobweb-new-plugin-halloween-2013/ 1 Quote ebook: Mastering Paint.NET | resources: Plugin Index | Stereogram Tut | proud supporter of Codelab plugins: EER's Plugin Pack | Planetoid | StickMan | WhichSymbol+ | Dr Scott's Markup Renderer | CSV Filetype | dwarf horde plugins: Plugin Browser | ShapeMaker
Red ochre
? Best I could do with Cobweb - may get better results by manually tracing/scanning a simplified outline of important features. Here's another version where I increased the size of the original to 1000 square first. http://i.imgur.com/YSwqPu7.png 1 Quote Red ochre Plugin pack.............. david.atwell
You could try Edge Detection before you use the steps outlined above; that might give you a more stark look. Quote The Doctor: There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior... A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.Amy: But how did it end up in there? The Doctor: You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.River Song: I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.
