Hey there everyone. I was on the old forum pretty often under the name of Dark Zarosia, and now I'm back! I don't use PDN as much as I did, as I'm incredibly buisy now. Thus, most updates will be on the weekends. But, enjoy!

~A Bit About Me~

Well, I'm almost 13, I'm homeschooled and live in Alabama. I'm also a male gymnast, and that's pretty much my life, haha. I spend 4 days a week at the gym for 2 hours a time, 1 or 2 times a day. When I'm not there, I'm doing school, or I'm sleeping. I use PDN whenever I can or when I'm just bored around the house. I mostly make signatures, but I also like spacescapes, and I really want to get better at them. And there you go, my life in a nutshell. Time for the gallery!

~Signatures~

^My very first signature. How cute.

^This is after I got a bit better. Background is 100% PDN. I'm proud of it, haha.

^Made back when I was learning, I was trying to take a cruddy sig and make it better using only PDN.

^I was just playing around one day, turned out alright though.

^Trying out a new style. I kinda like it. 100% PDN, also.

Same as above. i like this one better though.

First sig with a planet in it. 100% PDN.

^CoD. What else is there to say? (Other than Battlefield BC2 is way better. Hehe.

~Space~

^First ever starscape. Too busy for my taste.

^Newest, and best starscape. It has tiny rainbow color scheme too.

~Abstract~

^I was trying the power plant tutorial. I failed. but failure is pretty.

^I call it,"Eye of the Newt". Dunno why.

^Was Playing around, and this happened.

By the way, how do you hide images nowadays? I can't seem to find the button....

And your starscapes are too repetitive, did you use Seamless Texture Maker?

I like your first signature, the colors match and everything can be clearly seen except for the text at the bottom.

I prefer your first one to your second one because the picture looks a little squished. Other than that, fine.

Third one is the same as the first, text fades in and out so fast its hard to read, plus its almost as light as the background.

Fourth one I would have to see the stock, but other than that its kind of hard to see what's going on in the signature for two reasons:

1. Everything is some sort of orange or red.

2. It's kind of small.

Number five is very nice, but I don't really like the outside part where the diagonal lines serve as a border.

I know I'm repeating myself a lot but anyway, in the sixth sig, the text is hard to read... but its very good, you can clearly see the focal point of it etc.

Seven: Nice! Nothing really to suggest for it.

Eight: I can really see you getting better over time. This one is very good, all the colors match, the "style" is the same etc.

Nine: Very nice... I would have to see the original though.

Ten: This one "flows" very well. Some of the lines are a bit aliased, though.

Eleven (wow this is a long post) and twelve: I like the match of colors, the black white, and very dark red, I'd prefer the second one.

Thirteen: Very nice! You can easily see everything even the name even though its small. And I like the chrome-like style to the map (?).

Fourteen: Once again, I would have to see the stock used.

Fifteen: I don't like the way the rainbow continues into the blue-purple in the name, I would put it on a separate layer that start the rainbow over from red (since you won't be able to see it if it was as dark as blue or purple)

I'm stopping here because I don't want to bore you with my repetative comments, but I'll make sure to come back soon and comment on the other ones in a less boring fashion later! ( :devlish: )

I just saw one last thing to comment on ( :devlish: ), I wouldn't use polar inversion in your abstracts too much.

Hey, I got some freetime so I made another starscape. I think Is' ta lot better than my previous ones, it isn't as repetative.

Comments/critsism?

That's one very nice starscape you have there, sir (madam? I think you were a madam...)

The green parts of the colour gradient don't fit too well, though, and I want to see bigger images!

The small resolution doesn't do it justice

You have a good eye for highlights, but I miss some little star clouds, though the nebulae look very good. They miss some sort of colouring..

You sir, are a very good abstract artist. Even though polar inversion isn't generally an effect to use by itself, they look pretty decent in your images.

Thanks guys, and yes I'm a sir lol. Now that I'm back into PDN I can't seem to stop! ARGH! Anyway, I decided to try out that advertisement mockup tutorial for the heck of it. It came out ok I think, but I know I can do it better. So, I'll probably try it again in a week or two. however, any suggestions on the current version are much appriciated!

You're really getting good.

I really like it, but the reflection of the grass in the iPad is kind of weird. I don't know what though, maybe turn down the opacity?

I really like the background (the circles, not the black).

Anyway, I just got back from gymnastics and had an hour before dinner so...

Very small abstract that just happened.
